"Really good food but the area was dirty and the prices are kinda high! Pay almost $20 dollars for a soup 2 tacos is a little more than other taco places, I know the food is good but can't have restaurant prices without a restroom or a place to wash the hands"
"This place is 100 percent authentic. The tacos de barbacoa borrego (sheep) were amazing and loaded with meat. The meat was nicely tender and seasoned. The tortillas are freshly made and soft. The consomé has all the flavors of authentic barbacoa. The salsas we're not super spicy which is a plus for me. I'm definitely going back. Only suggestion I have is that they need a menu. And it's only cash in a digital moving world."
"Possibly the best barbacoa taco I have ever eaten. The meat was so tender and well seasoned and the taco was loaded with it. Should’ve got two corn tortillas to keep in that amazing juice. The verde tomatillo salsa that comes with it is no joke spicy and delicious. Going back for more soon! Cash only, so be prepared. Thank you Mama Dolores!"
"Best carnitas in Austin they use homemade corn tortillas we order the carnitas con curitos which is carnitas with pig skin so juicy and very authentic ...we also have tried the Menudo it's good but I like hominy in my Menudo but it was full of flavor. Good prices and really great food. They are only open on Saturdays and Sundays they open around 8 am but carnitas ain't ready till like 10 am it gets pact so there is a wait but it's worth it you should also know that they close at 4 or 5pm"
"So far I've been here twice and both times the quality of the barbacoa de chivo and the borrego have been excellent. You can have these meats in a taco as well as to-go btw. The corn tortillas on my second visit got cold fast but that's most likely due to the cold, windy weather. The horchata tastes like it was made from scratch so I def recommend it, coming from an horchata expert and very critical of synthetic horchatas. I'm putting this place on here bc it's a crime that it's not on here. I didn’t think to use the “add a missing place” feature on maps so this review is a slight repeat of my 1st visit last week - though that review is under the business Marketplace Austin, which has a large parking lot, which is where you’ll find this place."
