"If you are looking to purchase insurance, look elsewhere! I do not have insurance with them, however, my car was totaled by someone insured by them. This is the worst, listen well, the worst experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. The accident happened on the 9th, their driver not only admitted fault, but was also ticketed. Today is the 21st and the adjustor still has not phoned me with any information. I phoned the company and asked for a rental, not only did I not get a rental, but the adjustor Dax Hossley, spoke so rudely to me that people listening to the conversation were appalled and shocked. I could not believe the behavior of this adjustor; how can someone get away with treating customers like that? I had been leaving messages for him and just asking for updates in the process, but to no avail. When he finally called me back, he was extremely rude and told me I needed to learn what rights I had, which were few (according to him), and he did not want to speak to me; telling me to call my own insurance company if I needed anything. Which I did. Run, don’t walk away from this company, if they treat individuals like this, I would not trust them with handling my insurance. Dax is a total butt hole and not customer friendly. He has deep issues and needs to get those taken care of before he’s allowed to work with the public. Is the Hartford that hard up for employees that they put up with ignorant, rude, crazy individuals who chase away those who may, depending on how they’re treated, chose to purchase insurance with them one day? Wow, this is so crazy, it’s hard to believe that The Hartford would allow such bad customer service, but they do!"
