Reviews of Bavarian Grill
"Bavarian Grill has been a family favorite for years and years. It’s where out of town family always wants to go when they visit and where they’re most jealous of when we go without them. Lively, jovial atmosphere, knowledgeable wait staff, fantastic selection of German beers and we’ve never had a bad meal there. My personal favorites are the goulash soup, the pretzel rolls, the bratwurst, and rouladen when they have it! Tonight was our first time at the new location, and while I’ll miss the charm of the old location, it’s still the same delicious, fun Bavarian Grill!"
"My friends frequent this location and invited us when we were in town. I forget how much bigger the dining rooms are in Texas compared to the West Coast. The service from the hostess and waiter was phenomenal. They even had a guy singing the whole time. The portions are extremely enormous, so if you come hungry you will leave feeling stuffed like a turkey. We ordered the Ham Hock. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone easily. There was a good ratio of crispy skin and the meat was seasoned so well. I had a couple of bites of the sausage, they were delicious and we ended the meal with their rendition of a peach cobbler. It was mounds of peaches and more than enough for 3 considering we had large entrees."
"Been going to the old location for years and have not stopped by the new location due to distance and whatever. But I'm so glad I did as it still has the same great food and atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated almost like a little Bavarian museum where you are transported as you walk through the door. Still had two sides which is the restaurant and the other which you van still get food but maybe more lively given the proxity to the large bar. Service was excellent and it does get very busy. Food is always too notch including the drink and dessert menu."
"I was never been in any German restaurants and was hoping having an extortionately experience. I was so excited to go there. The food was so blend and the waitress didn’t sound like willing to explain. Main food came before the appetizer and the third side dish never came to our table. The portion of mashed potato was so small. The only excitement was the gentleman opened up my beer and pure it to my glass and he was very sweet letting me filming him. I am so sad the experience didn’t turn out as I expected."
"I can not make this stuff up. Bavarian Grill exceeded my expectations. Their atmosphere is just amazing. The staff are very nice and well-mannered. I honestly have no words for the food. It was amazing. I had a little bit of everything. The black truffle Mac and cheese was so good, There were mushrooms and peas in it but it definitely didn’t taste like it. It was so good. The chicken and pork were both cooked perfectly and make my stomach very satisfied. The fries which are a very main staple to my perfect dinner were very crisp and seasoned. I recommend this place and I will be eating here again later."
