"Nice ambience and tasty food, I have tried their San Antonio branch already and was big fan of it, this time tried their Dallas branch , it was good, grilled fish, goat soup, biryani, all the dishes tasted very good."
"We have been doing takeouts from here for a while, so we decided to go for a dine-in experience this time. It was a Friday afternoon so the restaurant wasn't crowded. We had a Mysore Masala Dosa and a Madurai Malli Dosa, along with a side of Natty Kozhi Varuval on the side. The dosas were crispy and tasted quite good, although the Mysore Dosa lacked enough masala. The Malli Dosa was something new for us and it tasted good. The side of Nattu Kozhi Varuval was average though. Nothing fancy about it. Something that surprised us was that they did not have Filter Coffee when we asked them. That seemed strange considering this is a Tamil cuisine restaurant."
"I had a satiating experience of brunch at Madurai Mes in Plano. We had ordered 3 veg thalis and 1 Mysore plain dosa. The thali was excellent in taste and had a good variety of options. 1 malabar parota, one big bowl of rice, 1 papad and 1 small bowl of jeera rice. The other items were kadhi, mix veg with mushrooms and potatoes, black chana with gravy, rasam, sambhar, fried potatoes with capsicum, aloo jeera dry and sewai in sweet dish with a banana leaf at the bottom. At last we had delicious paan. The overall experience, ambiance and food were absolutely great. The total bill was $75."
"Great experience at Madurai Mess,Plano..an amazing experience, all great cuisine of South India!! We had Ghee Roast Dosa, Kari Dosa ( Madurai famous Dosa) , also we tried Singapore noodles!! Off Madurai is famous its own brand JIGARTHANDA creamy cool drink..overall great experiences! Enjoyed it..must try South Indian Restaurant in DFW area!!"
"Good South Indian non-veg food around. Decent place to dine in and the service was good too. If you want to try Madurai style food, this is the place to visit. Vanjiram fry was too good on a weekday!!"
