"UPDATE.- Your response was really disappointing. You are the “color expert” and I remember perfectly asking YOU if the color I picked would take on my hair well or if you need to wash off the previous color first, an you said no. You see, I’m not an expert in coloring hair that’s why I go to a salon so they can take care of it. It’s like when you go to the doctor, you don’t tell the doctor how to treat you but you follow his instructions to get better, right? As an stylist and color expert, you should’ve advised better. I don’t think you advised against me picking the lighter color. None only that, when I walked in your salon my ends were lighter than the roots and when you applied color in a single step made them black. Yes, my hair is naturally dry and frizzy like any other curly hair. Now it’s just worst. Lastly… when I asked you what would be best for my hair, you said that long layers would made my hair puffy and so I agreed to do short layers. I did mention that my hair looks like a Christmas tree when there’s no layers at all. When cutting my hair, you showed me how much you were cutting and it was ok. I guess as you start doing the layers, you start cutting if shorter and shorter. I wish you could take this as constructive criticism. Maybe you do need a refresher on coloring techniques, I don’t know. My experience was not the best at all and like I said, healing my already dry, frizzy hair will take a while ☹️ I feel that this review should be taken as constructive criticism by stylists. I went to get a single color process in my hair. I only wanted to cover my grays and maybe go with a little bit lighter color. Alynn, which is also the owner, took care of me. She did not do a good job. Since my hair had been colored before, my the ends end up being super dark and the gray was not completely covered. I call her and she agreed to fix my hair. Since I realized she’s not very proficient at coloring hair, I asked to correct my hair by coloring to match to the darker portion. She again, couldn’t deliver. My hair still has two different shades of brown. I also requested a hair cut with short layers, but she end up cutting my hair too short with almost nonexistent layers. Due to having my hair colored on two consecutive days, now it’s super stiff and dry. I’ve been doing hair masks twice a week but it’s not helping. My hair has been severely damaged and healing will take a while, considering I need extra treatments to get a uniform color. Alynn, take this as constructive criticism. You should not be coloring hair without proper training. Nonetheless it’s worth to mention that you have excellent costumer service skills and are very kind. Place is also very nice and clean."

"Alinn is so patient and sweet. My daughter has autism and she takes time with her. She has my daughter's trust to take care of her. We both had hair coloring and cuts, never left thinking it wasn't beautiful or done correctly. We will continue to come back."

"I had visited this salon once before and Isabel did such an amazing job with my first balayage so I had to return to her again. Isabel is a true artist when it comes to hair! She can magically turn frumpy, boring hair and give it so much life and color. She’s super detail oriented and does not take shortcuts. My experience with her has always been great as she really caters to me as her client when I am with her. I never feel rushed or pressured by her. And most importantly, she makes me feel like a million bucks every time I walk out of the salon!"

"After reading all the positive reviews I was surprised to get a same day appointment. I came in toward the end of the day after I got off work & I specifically asked when making my appointment if it was too late because I would be willing to come in the next day earlier if needed. My stylist was Isabel & I felt she was rushing to get me done & out the door. My hair was about 2 inches below my shoulders. I showed her an image of what I wanted and explained that the layers are important. She glanced at the image, said she understands, and proceeded to cut my hair. My glasses had to come off so I couldn't exactly see what she was doing. I'm including the image I showed Isabel for reference and what my hair looked like after it dried. Basically no layers & the bottom is extremely uneven in random places. I had to go to another stylist on Sunday to get it somewhat fixed. Now my hair is significantly shorter than I wanted & looks nothing like I wanted. I wasted the money for the cut and wasted most of my hair."
