"Jody is AMAZING and my curls are FABULOUS! I never realized my hair was so curly AND could stay curly (not frizzy) for days. Before touching my hair, Jody spent time simply listening to me. She asked me what I liked about my hair, what I would like to change, products I use, how I style it, etc. No stylist has ever spent so much time LISTENING to my hair troubles. We then looked at photos of styles I liked and didn’t like. After all of that - my education began. Jody explained why my hair behaves as it does (did) and why I was struggling with it. She educated me about the importance of ingredients, those to look for and those to avoid. After cutting my hair she taught me how to properly wash, condition, treat, and dry it. She also demonstrated the best ways to sleep with curly hair and how to refresh it. My visit lasted several hours and every second was enjoyable and educational. "I have had an ongoing battle with my curls for about 50 years! I have never liked them, never knew how to take care of them and I don’t think they ever looked their best. As Jody said, “Your hair knows it’s curly.” Years ago, I even went to Beverly Hills on Rodeo drive to a very famous salon and they gave me my money back and free conditioning treatments !
