"The food was fine. Our server however, was so standoffish and rude it was shocking! He maybe said about 5 words to us and we also waited a good 15 minutes for the check after finishing eating. We had to actually ask someone else for assistance. The menus are extremely difficult to read in the low light setting (white paper + light-colored, small font). I’m not sure if the dining room is always so smoky but it was truly too much for comfort. For $190 there are much better places to eat where the waitstaff won't snub you."

"Good like prime rib. Don’t get any extras. Totally not worth it. The mashed potatoes are about 1 dollar per teaspoon and taste like they are 13.99 cents per teaspoon. Good ok fries. I’d go back for the prime rib only."

"I saw articles about Maie Day and some amazing Instagram worthy photos, so thought we would try this place out. Made a reservation for 4 on a Friday night. We were seated in the corner off shoot area by a window so the atmosphere was different from the rest of the restaurant where the open fire grill and the bar were. The service was great and our waiter recommended some good dishes. We ordered the crab dip, crab claws, potato bread, half loaded fries, Mac and cheese, prime rib, and chicken. None of the dishes were instagram worthy like the ones initially saw when Maie Day opened. The crab claws were super small and visually not stunning. But it tasted good with the garlic butter dipping sauce. The crab dip came out next and was decent with the hush puppies. I was expecting more flavor. The potato bread was moist and delicious and came with something like honey butter with salt crystals. This was our favorite appetizer. The loaded fries were nothing to write home about. They tasted decent. We really liked the prime Rib and the Mac and cheese. Those were our favs for the entree part. The prime rib had a healthy serving - 16oz. The chicken was okay. For dessert, we really enjoyed the chocolate cake. It was nice to try this place and we had fun on our double date."
