"My engine has smoke, he damaged my car"

"WORST mechanic in whole united states. Summery: He did not fix the car and gave it back to me even more damaged. On top of that, he charged me for damaging my car and not fixing the problem at all. (see attached invoices photos) Detailed experience: I had a yellow engine flashing light that was limiting my car's speed. I took it to AutoZone to inspect the code. It gave me P1213, and the report indicated that the knock sensor needed replacement. To be certain about the error, I decided to consult a mechanic before ordering a new knock sensor. I brought my car to EM6 AutoTech, which turned out to be a rather disappointing choice. I asked the mechanic to check the issue and inform me. After dropping off my car and returning to work, he called me six hours later, confirming that the error was indeed related to the knock sensor and that it needed replacement. He quoted me $140 for labor and an additional $55 for the knock sensor itself. He suggested that he could order it, claiming it would be quicker than if I ordered it from AutoZone. I agreed. He instructed me to pick up the car the next day and charged me a total of $210.50. He mentioned that he had to replace the oil rings, which incurred an extra charge. He also informed me of an engine oil leak, which could potentially cause the problem to recur at any time. I questioned why he hadn't mentioned this earlier and why he had replaced the knock sensor if the oil leak was the issue. He reassured me, saying it would run for plenty of miles without issues. I drove just 1.5 miles, and the engine warning light reappeared, accompanied by a smell of smoke from my car's AC. I returned to the mechanic, and he suggested using thicker oil. He marketed a LUCAS oil product he had in stock and charged me an additional $20. He promised to replace the knock sensor one more time for free and I left my car with him. The next day, I picked up my car, but the same issue occurred again - less than half a mile, and the engine warning light reappeared, along with a new smell of smoke from the AC. I returned to the mechanic to request a refund of at least the labor charges. He refused and began arguing, claiming I hadn't paid for diagnostics. I contested this, wondering why he had charged such a high labor fee if diagnostics hadn't been performed. We argued for some time, and I eventually called the police. They advised me that I would need to take the matter to court, as they couldn't assist unless it was an emergency. In the interest of saving time, I decided not to pursue legal action and let the matter go. I have doubts whether he even replaced the knock sensor. I want to warn everyone about this fraudulent mechanic. Do not take your vehicle to him."
