"I could give less than a one star, I would. I have lived in Montgomery for one year. Lavender nails is the only salon that I have gone to for my nails, pedicures, and eyebrows. I am in their salon at least once a month. I have never had a problem or a situation until today. Last Wednesday I was there getting my eyebrows done, I asked the sweet lady to trim my eyebrows, she did but barely, and she just cleaned them up. I was in a hurry. So I really didn't notice how long the end of my eyebrows still were until the next dayThanksgiving... (no big deal I'll go back on Monday) because I was out of town with family over the weekend for the holiday. So today (Monday) on my way coming into town at 4:45pm. I pull up to the salon. They do not have one person in the whole salon that they are taking care of, not 1 customer and they close at 7pm. The owner or manager walks up to me and I asked if they could just trim the ends of my eyebrows and I explained what had happened, Literally it would take 5 seconds. Not thinking it was any big deal whatsoever. He said no! that I should've asked for it at the time of service. I told him I understood that, and she did trim them a tiny bit, but I was in a hurry and didn't really notice. He once again said no!! I needed to ask at time of service. He was extremely unprofessional and honestly very rude. I believe customer service is what makes or brakes a business. My career Is also in customer service. I get it when you have clients or customers that push limits or take advantage of you, But this was not the case. I paid around $15 for an eyebrow "clean up"wax and then tip $5.00 dollars. Come back a couple of days later, and say, could you please just trim the ends of my eyebrows?? He doesn't even do eyebrows!? he doesn't know anything about eyebrows! I've been having my eyebrows waxed since I was 12 years old. I'm 51 now . Please don't tell me how to ask or what I need to do on the way I want my eyebrows taken care of. I think I have it by now. He was over the top RUDE, unprofessional. So, just remember it doesn't matter how often you go to their salon they do not care, and you will be treated poorly. I have referred several friends to their salon, and I will not be referring anyone else. That was absolutely ridiculous!"
"I’ve been here many times before. I heard owners changed and I have noticed the difference. I came in today and the girl did my nails in a hurry. They are super thick and messy. I did let them know and they kind of fixed them. I asked her for square round and she did squared. I asked her to fix it, she did. But that did make them shorter than I originally wanted because she filed them again because she didn’t listen the first time. Then she did the acrylic super thick, didn’t file it down and didn’t clean the inside underneath of the nail. She was in a rush to go do her coworkers nails. I told Nancy and the guy at the register I wanted it cleaned up cuz it was messy and sloppy, The other lady there came and fixed. Neither him or the girl Nancy seem concerned or say anything to me. She was more concerned about doing the other employees nails. He and the girl Nancy that did my nails and the other staff just congregated at the other station talking and laughing while she worked on the other ladies nails. He didn’t seem at all concerned. Customer service was great when Tracy was here. Now it’s just blah, like any other salon. The pics are after they fixed them up. The bottom had a lot of residue from the acrylic before."
"Location under new management (ask for Bruno) with a whole new mindset. The new owners are wonderful hardworking folks who are putting in the work to update the location and put their own touch on it. From the moment you open the front door, you are greeted by everyone who happens to make eye contact. The atmosphere is wonderful and the purple walls in line with the Lavender theme are very easy on the eyes. Every member of the staff are friendly and inviting. The work ethic and attitude of any individual you come across inside the locatio is top notch. Today both my wife and myself had manicure and pedicure treatments done. Every little step of the way, the staff had smiles on their faces and did their best to interract with us. This place js a full step ahead of the competition with their level of customer service. This was my first of many trips to come. Rates are more than fair but with the kind of service they provide is cream of the crop."
