"WE LOVE THIS PLACE.WE COME HERE ALMOST EVERYDAY AFTER MY HUSBAND GETS OFF WORK,GREAT SERVICE LOVE THE TACOS DE PASTOR .AND MY LOVES THE FLATAS DE POLLO."
"A tad expensive for what it is … It’s a seafood based Tex-mex joint, kinda old school, kinda shabby, but perfectly acceptable. (Seriously, the environs are pretty bare bones inside, very much a “seen better days” vibe) The food is good, not great, but perfectly good. If only the prices were around 30% lower…."
"Food is amazingly awesome here. Pork taco was the best in town. We will be back for sure. The music is pretty loud."
"Two words: homemade tortillas. Great prices. Amazing chips. You know, the kind that can actually be used to scoop up the barbacoa that falls out of your taco but doesn’t break your teeth. (First chips and salsa is free.) The red salsa is a good blend with great spices. It is spicy. But the good spicy, flavor not just heat. I ordered one barbacoa taco and one Al pastor both with corn tortillas. Yes, they are greasy. That is what I wanted. But if you want super dry, blah Mexican on the healthier side, go to Torchy’s. I liked the Al pastor with the green salsa served alongside. But, barbacoa always has my heart. Note there is a 4% fee for payment via card. The music was kind of loud. An oasis for a former Texan spending the last 6 months in Northeast Wisconsin."
"So The food is really good. First of all it smells like fresh menudo. Either you like and can appreciate that smell, or you don't. I don't and it was tough for about the first 15-20 minutes until I couldn't smell it anymore . It did seem a little pricey for the meal. For my wife and I it was $50 including tip. That just seemed steep for the restaurant style and food. The service was great. The food tasted good, but not $50 for 2 people good. I had a seafood platter and my wife had the spicy seafood soup. The selection of different kinds of shrimp was excellent. The grilled shrimp and the bacon wrapped were definitely my favorite. There were 2 catfish fillets that were ok. The fish tasted good but the batter was odd and thick. I don't do oysters by my wife said they were oysters. It came with no other types of sides - no rice, beans, guac, coleslaw. My wife loves the spiciness of her soup. Lots of shrimp and imitation lump crab. There were also a whole lot of mussels and clams and probably octopus. Not her favorite selection in those other items, especially as overwhelming as they were. But if you love that selection this soup would be great for you"
