Waffle House

"Waiting staff sits there and talks the entire time and not pay attention to Customer. Also overcharge you on items that were not given to us. After asking about it, she lied to my wife straight to her face that she did not charge us for it. After further review, she had charged us for it, and there is no itemized ticket that could be checked. They could do a whole lot better if they sit there and stop talking and do their job."

"I believe I did a review for this waffle house location. Which was great. The food was fresh and I enjoyed it. It was my very first time in this waffle house. My husband has been pushing me to go with him. So I finally did. The cook was very friendly with us."

"It was a white man fixing my food he was an older guy the picture below is what he served me when I brought it back for a refund he said he hates to cook for people like me let it be known that I'm a black woman so I took that very offensive he needs to lose his job as soon as possible I will be coming back tomorrow morning to speak with the manager Darnell and make a personal complaint against this man and he did not give me his name he refused to give out that information I am very disturbed I will not come to this Waffle House ever again"

"Absolutely horrible experience with service. Food was good, but the bacon was a bit over cooked. Service… you guys need to hire waiters/waitresses with better attitudes. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had service-wise. Went there when they weren’t busy and I was the only one there. This one waitress there…. Her name is “Ashley” Was pretty rude to me from the get go. As soon as I walked in I Asked her if they were still open because the store looked pretty empty and she just gave me an attitude and nasty look. I waited for a full minute before she finally answered. Ooookay…? Not too sure what I did wrong but… yeah.. not too sure what kind of night you had but under no circumstances should you be rude to a customer just walking in… really… Then, when I was ordering I asked if they still did the all star special (my usual go to when I eat at Waffle House) and she just looked at me as if she saw a ghost. Didn’t even answer. And I had to look through the menu to see that they still did. Really? THEN when she was serving my food normally a nice waitress would place it gently in front of you and say “here you go!” But she just came to my table and slid the food towards me carelessly. Not too sure but the way she came off made me feel like I was a burden or something. It felt really hostile. Lastly, my drink was empty and I looked for her to fill my cup again but as she passed by my table -literally while no one else was there- didn’t even ask to see if everything was ok or if I needed a refill…. Was just a really horrible experience and didn’t feel the hospitality, in fact the opposite. Literally the worst dine in experience I’ve had. Even waitresses at dinner/lunch rush hours treat you better. You could say “it is Waffle House” but almost every other time I have been to Waffle House has been a positive experience prior to this visit. Was so bad I definitely had to talk to the manager about it. If I see that I’m being served by this Ashley person again just going to say that I’m just walking right back out and finding another place to eat. Waitresses should never be rude otherwise definitely not leaving a tip."
