"I recently rented a car through this company on Turo and the service was less than personable. When we received our car we had expired temporary tags. We had to call them and inform them of this issue and it caused us a delay in our schedule because we had to go by their shop just for them to put ANOTHER temporary tag on the car. Then they dropped our car off at the airport at 5am even though our reservation began at 1:30pm. This caused us to pay for a FULL DAY in parking fees at the airport. When we informed them of this issue (as the airport drop off is supposed to complimentary) they were apprehensive of reimbursing us at first. It took a ton of conversing but we finally were able to get a refund. The communication is subpar they told us our car was parked in a certain airport zone but when we walked over there it was incorrect. As a traveler that can be alarming and it made us walk across to the other side of the airport. The car was nice and decent but overall customer service needs improvement."

"As a black vendor coming to help them with their inventory issues I wouldn’t dare recommend anyone to buy a car from here. Walked in a room full of salespeople and no one took initiative to introduce themselves or at least help me until I interrupted their hug sessions. Now I’ve got everyone’s attention and the attitude to go with it. THES FOLKS ARE RUDE!!! THESE 5 STAR RATINGS ARE FALSE. Don’t be fooled. These cars are fixed with minimal effort and resold for high profit. Go to a real dealer."

"I only rented a car from them, but as far as that goes, Texas Star Motors is top notch! Karlo was awesome. There was some damage to the car from the people that brought the car in right before, and Karlo called me immediately to make me aware of the issue and asked if I would like to switch to another car. He even made sure to ask me if I needed a 3rd row, which I absolutely did as I was traveling with 6 family members. I took the car as-is, had no problems, and it was perfect for the trip. As I returned the car, I walked into their building and was greeted by first name, and was quickly checked out and on my way! These guys are awesome. Good customer service is increasingly rare, but Texas Star provides it generously."

"I do not recommend buying a car from here I paid 12,500 cash for a car Drove it for 2 months found out it had a transmission problem and I am now out a car and 12,500$ It’s going to cost 1200.00 I don’t have! To replace the transmission I called them they said well you bought a car as is That is theft!!! Y’all are stealing peoples money knowing your cars are going to break down and still taking all our money SCAM!!! Crazy part about it is they shoved paper towels in the Transmission cap to hide the issue!!!! Who does that!!! THIEVES DO!! Y’all are taking advantage of your customers!!! DONT BUY A CAR HERE!!!"

"I would HIGHLY recommend them. I purchased my Honda Pilot with them back in 2018 and I’ve really grew to love them. I originally started working with Amin then Amar and they’ve both been nothing but good to me. I had 1 issue with them and they made it right immediately. Very honest people and they don’t try to get over on you just to make a sale which means a lot being that I walked in by myself as woman looking to buy a vehicle. I gave them my budget, what I was looking for in a vehicle and they made it happen. Literally the easiest car purchase I’ve ever had. I’m looking on their website now for my next vehicle lol"
