Came to him with my 2017 Maxima overheating and within minutes he pulled the radiator out to test it out and found exactly what the issue was. Reasonable price and was able to fix it within an hour!! "Called Hobby Airport Radiator to ask if they could help get the radiator checked out on my son’s car, a Subaru Forester. Explained to George, the owner, that the temperature light had started coming on. Took it to him around noon to let him look at it. He immediately located the area where the radiator had developed a leak, made a couple of phone calls, and had a replacement on the way to be delivered within 30 minutes. He said he would have it ready by 3:30 pm and would call me when it was ready. The wife and I went Xmas shopping nearby, trying to get some of that done. George called just before 3:00 pm to let us know it was ready. Cost for this quick repair was $ 300. That included the radiator and labor to install. The local Subaru dealer wanted $ 1,175 replace it. They included new hoses, clamps, coolant flush, and new fluid. We didn’t need all that overpriced hardware and labor, just a radiator. Thank god there are still businesses out there with competent, honest owners willing to give us fair prices for their work.
