So I called around and checked with other car repair shops, described what KC told me was wrong and they all agreed it was a legit issue and a good quoted price. KC allowed me to pay 1/2 down to start the work. They took the initiative to research the issue through a world-wide auto mechanics' forum and found out they could do the work without near as much labor involved, thus saving me almost $800! Me and my family have been taking our cars here for 20+ years and have ALWAYS been treated fairly. I love Kings Crossing Car Care!"

"I encourage you to scroll down and read the review written by Melissa Smith. I would then encourage you to read the reply from the Service Manager, Brian. These guys have zero professionalism and whenever a negative review is left the tone is always defensive. I get it, the customer is not always right. However it is a little curious that you take a vehicle to a mechanic with a battery that has no issues and is 1.5 yrs old and then get the car back and the battery is dead. I was the one who took the vehicle in and my name certainly is not Chris. They could not even pull the file and look at my name before responding. The facts that they allege are mostly true. They did work with me on the price but only after I pointed out that there quoted was several hundred dollars above what other places were quoting me. They agreed to work on the price and lowered it a little but they were still $200+ more expensive, but I did not want to have to go get the vehicle and take it somewhere else because I was having to uber back and forth or get rides to have the work done because it was my only vehicle. I would not be writing this review if my interaction with Kevin had been a pleasant one. However, unfortunately, it was not. He took no ownership of the issue and instead on offering to be helpful he tried to sell me another battery, which seems to be the intent in the first place. He did offer to have me bring the battery in and have it charged, at that point what was the use. The battery was totally dead and had been fine before dropping it off. All things considered whether the battery was their fault or it wasn't. It was a terrible overall experience and it was expensive. Listen, there are a lot of mechanics out there and I would highly recommend finding another place to take your car. I have a usual mechanic who is an honest and trustworthy guy, he just did not have a lift to do the alignment and struts. He recommended 2 other places to take my car and did not recommend this place. I should have listened and that is on me. I won't make that mistake again."

"Easily the best shop I’ve ever found, the mechanics are very knowledgeable and helpful. I took my car to several other shops in and around Kingwood and all of them wrongfully diagnosed my cars issues and tried charging me a fortune. This was the only shop that was honest with me and accurately diagnosed my car. They are very honest and fairly priced! I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family.
