No one ever tried to reverse the charges. That simply did not happen. You are making this up. You continued to say you would call us back and never did. You stopped answering your text messages after a while. Stop acting like you do good business because you do not and the nerve to lie and just make up something to have a comeback is sad."

"I've used Mike's in the past and end up going back because they're always so welcoming and honest. Integrity is sooo important and I feel like I'm always being taken care of, no matter the problem, when it comes to my vehicle. Prices are fair and the fellas I've met are always nice and explain well what's happening with my car. Also a plus that it's not far from my home. Definitely would recommend."

"This review has been a long time coming. Both my wife and I have older cars. With older cars comes quite a bit of maintenance and repairs. We've taken both of our cars to Mike's for things both major and minor. He always gives us a good price and does a fantastic job. Throughout the years we've moved farther and farther to the west side of Houston, and Mike's shop has become farther and farther. On a few occasions, we have taken our cars to shops closer to where we were living, and on each of those occasions we have both been significantly disappointed, sometimes even feeling like we were robbed. Perhaps we were simply spoiled by the quality and affordability of the work Mike's shop does, but we have decided that even given the distance, we're going to take our cars across town to his shop for any work that needs done. My dad is the one who recommended me to Mike's shop, and a friend of his recommended the shop to him. I've continued the pattern and have recommended Mike's to several people. I do this because I know that he does quality work and does it for a price that's fair. If there is something that needs to be done in your car, but it isn't urgent, he'll let you know and say you should bring it back in 6 months. Throughout the many times I've taken my car here, there has only been a single problem, and that was a very very minor one. After a full brake replacement, the tabs on one of the front pads was rubbing against the rotor and making a whining noise, not damaging anything, but annoying. I called Mike, and he told me to bring it back in. He fixed it promptly for no extra charge. The Houston area is incredibly large and diverse, and among everything it can be hard to find places of quality, be it mechanic or book store or restaurant. When you find a gem like Mike's shop, hold on to it. Thanks for all of the great work throughout the years!"

"Long story short my son had just got an oil change on his car about a week ago and then he was in Houston and the low oil pressure light came on and he was able to find this Mike's mechanic shop. Awesome they only had the car for a day and they were able to fix it!!!! And thank God nothing was ruined with the engine or anything, apparently the previous oil change place had broke the oil filter housing."
