I chose to undergo some cosmetic enhancements this year and Dr. Gayle’s office took care of me perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with my results. "My only criticism is the lack of email or text reminders for appointments. I had an appointment rescheduled and got no email confirmation or reminder, so since I didn’t write down the appointment while on the phone I had no idea when it was. I’m not sure if this was because I was a new patient or if the rescheduling caused an issue, but getting no written confirmation of my appointment time and no reminder made scheduling really frustrating. My experience at the actual office was great. They were prompt taking me back, and I had the gentlest cleaning I’ve ever had in my life. I just think they need to make sure to send email confirmations of appointments so patients have a written note of their appointment date/time, and email or text reminders of it."

"Best dentist I've ever had, hands down. Caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable with excellent staff as well. Great sense of humor and very kind. Not out for an easy buck, which is more than I can say for other Houston area dentists. He's done several fillings, a root canal, and a couple crowns for me and I've never once had a problem, despite my super-sensitive teeth and my anxiety going to any dentist - he puts you at ease and makes sure you are comfortable, explaining every step of the process. He even went over options with my husband who had a cracked molar, and explained that while he could crown it (which would make him more money), the crown would most likely fail after a while and he'd have to extract the tooth, so he would be better off just extracting it now, but gave him the choice - my husband ultimately chose the extraction and had no problems with the procedure and healed up great. We now live over 50 miles away and still make time to go back into the city to see Dr Gayle - we've never found anyone better! Great practice around."

"I had such a great experience with Dr. Gayle, which is something I never thought I’d say about a dentist. I’ve never not left the dentist crying. I have extreme anxiety and feel some intense shame surrounding my teeth. I did not feel the least embarrassed leaving my appointment. He was professional and encouraging. The hygienist/assistant (I don’t know which capacity she was working in) was incredibly friendly and read that I was feeling nervous and spent extra time with me just talking to help put me at ease. Highly recommend!"
