LUXOR NAILS AND SPA

"I come here often. Mostly because everywhere in Paducah doesn’t seem to do a good job, but at least these guys can always get me in. But I will most definitely not be coming back. I went in for a fill and polish change and I have never been more unhappy with my nails in my life. First of all, the guy who did my service used the most AGGRESSIVE bit on an e-file I have ever seen. I have been getting my nails done for 12+ years and let me tell you there is NO need for that aggressive of a bit for an e-file. He cut/burned me with it 7+ times. Honestly I had to stop counting or I was going to flip my top. Never in my life have I wanted to walk out in the middle of a service, but today I almost did. After it was all said and done I have misshapen “square” nails with polish and acrylic all over my fingers and the saddest excuse for a “matte” top coat I have ever seen. Spare yourselves and don’t bother coming here. Like I said, I’ve come here often. And no, I don’t know all of the KY rules/laws for nails places. However, I do know this places reuses all of their nail files (not the metal cleanable ones) one client right after another. I have watched them do it time after time. Drop files, brushes, utensils ect on the floor and just pick them up and keep on going like nothing ever happened. No sanitation or anything. Obviously this lack of regard bothered me, but didn’t stop me from coming back because my nails always turned out okay-ish. But certainly after today I will not be coming back."

"The first pic is what I asked for when I walked in. I showed them this pic, and asked if they could do it. I asked if they could make the nail color red, and do the accent work in pink, white, and silver. This was a birthday treat for my daughter. My daughter has social anxiety, so, I made sure I was clear in what she wanted, and that I was paying. The second pic is what she got, because the workers, after seeing the pic, and saying it would be “no problem”, couldn’t do the nail art. As a matter of fact, they tried to do just the heart outline, but couldn’t manage that. The second pic is what we left with. The management was hateful, unapologetic, and showed no accountability for their failure to deliver on services promised. This is a luxury service, and I had waited months to have this experience with my daughter. I am angry, and beyond disappointed. I’ve never had an issue with this place before, but they dropped the ball so bad that I won’t give them another chance to disappoint me. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT"

"My 8 year old daughter and I wanted to have a mother-daughter date and get mani/pedis. While we were able to do that... it wasn't as fun as we imagined. First, my guy was not very social, he moved very quickly, and was rude. My daughter's guy tried to get me to leave my daughter at her seat and go across the shop. Not happening. He then said, "Well if she messes up her toenail polish, I'm not fixing it!" To which I said okay because I'm not leaving her anywhere by herself, let alone over some nail polish. Needless to say, we will not go back there."
