"I was seeking a second opinion and one of my coworker friends recommended Dr. Markoff. The office is in a small shopping center off of Highway 59 and it looks unassuming but the staff and Dr. Markoff were excellent. The receptionist took the time and waited about an HOUR with the insurance company to make sure that things were in order so I could see Dr. Markoff. Dr. Markoff took the time to explain in detail what was going on with my teeth and he actually didn't recommend a root canal which is what the previous dentist had really pushed for me to do. I had gone to Lovett Dental in Missouri City on Highway 6 and they recommended a root canal and were really pushy about getting me to schedule. My gut told me to seek a second opinion and I am really glad I did, especially given the fact that the office manager seemed impatient and rude at Lovett Dental. I encourage people to really trust their instincts when going to the dentist and I definitely recommend Dr. Markoff!"

"We LOVE Dr. Markoff. We started seeing him ten years ago after being told by another dentist that we had six cavities that needed filling. Dr. Markoff told us it was just stain on our teeth and that they were trying to rip us off. It's ten years later, and still no "cavities" that the other company lied about. We've taken all our kids to him, and always had a great experience! He's always patient to answer our questions thoroughly and completely, never in a rush to get to the next patient. Great dental hygienists too!! Very friendly, helpful, and they always do a good job on cleaning. I like that he's a minimalist, never trying to "scare" you into some ridiculous dental work that doesn't really need to be done. If you're on a budget or have no insurance, he lets you know what the minimum amount of work is that needs to be done, and what can be postponed until you have more cash available. AWESOME!"
