"Universal Transmissions on Eldridge at W Little York doesn’t look like much from the outside, but we were impressed by the quality and timeliness of the work done there (for a downright steal of a price, too). My husband replaced an alternator and the spark plugs in his GMC and, long story short, we now have a new alternator, and the spark plugs are finally fitted and wired correctly. Their diagnostics and repairs are spot on, and they didn’t charge anything for the diagnostics or fittings of the spark plugs. They also did some further troubleshooting of our rough idling, and with some more repairs and replacements for a very reasonable price, the truck is purring! Go there for anything you want taken care of by the pros. P.s. Cheaper than a dealership, and just as fast (if not faster)."

"Worst service ever highly not recommend. Regret using them. I don’t usually write reviews but I put my car in they shop for transmission work with no satisfaction. They never gave me a set price till they pull out my transmission and said it will be 3,700 to rebuild. That was way out my budget. I end up having to pay 625 plus 150 to get my car towed back from them. Before leaving they parking lot I noticed this unusual dent in my car that never was there . I showed it to them ( Chunk ) then was told they had to play the cameras back first. Days later of waiting they never contacted me back. I call after a few times then was told they not gone fix nor cover the damage they have costed to my vehicle. There are no dents through out the whole car other then the one they cost. I’m lost for words waste of time and money if you ask me never again."

"Unfortunately i had a bad experience with shop. I trusted this shop and found it convenient that i worked across the street from it. Initially the initial inspection it over priced and they will not even attempt to give you a rough estimate."Please try and get rough estimate before the 500$ inspection". No rental car or discount given for the week my truck was in the shop when they had said 3 days tops. After 3 weeks the truck did the exact thing witch was not shifting to 3rd gear "i gues the 2,400$ stop slip they put in there didn't hold up. Even under warranty they did not provide free tow truck as advertised. Had to drive it up hear and pay an additional 100$ for neutral safety switch i asked for part but they would not give it to me and after that I had to take truck back 2 more times.Dont use this place i was with out truck a total of one month."

"TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE YOU LEAVE IT AT THIS PLACE!!! I took my Dad’s 2008 Toyota Tundra here to have the Evaporator Core, Evaporator Expansion Valve and Dryer for the Air conditioner replaced. The process involves taking apart the dashboard. They had to take the truck to the N Eldridge location to do most of the work. The first time I picked up the truck, the A/C was fixed but the radio and clock were not working. They had to keep the truck for another week to figure out what they did wrong. First of all, when I dropped off the truck I told them to take special care of the truck and asked him to keep it inside the building because it is in like new condition. Luckily for me I covered the seats with drop cloths. When I finally got the truck back there is a dent in the front passenger fender with yellow paint which matches the poles surrounding their place of business. Also, there were scratches on the dashboard and it looks like they took a chisel to the top of the steering column. The side of the driver door had to have been left open and pushed up against something because the paint is worn off. Luis has reimbursed me for the dent removal repair. However all the damages that the N Eldridge location did to the truck have not been addressed by them I wouldn’t ever step foot in the 6259 N Eldridge Pkwy location of Universal Transmission again and you can guarantee the many people in my business network will know my experience with your incompetent, careless workers."
