"I had a complete transmission replacement on a 2012 Ram 2500 6.7L. He installed a better than factory rebuild and it runs so much better the original. Service turn around was fast and the customer service is top notch. Thank you Freddy!"
"Needed a spark plug replaced. It was Friday at 5pm. I live in South Dallas and desperately needed to get back home. They were willing to get my car in, go the extra mile to get the parts and have it ready to go at a reasonable price by closing. So grateful for this place. Great, gracious management."
"had transmission rebuilt 4 months ago and now they say i have transmission coolet probkem and Freddy told me he will take care of me and now he says problem will cost me $860. i would expect since they rebuilt it It would last longer than 4 months. He told me a different problem. lmao. i would never recommend this place. bunch of crooks trying to make money"
"A little over a year ago I took my van to Ortega's Automotive Transmission on longpoint and I paid $2000.00 to have my transmission rebuilt. The receipt said that it had a 12,000 or 1 year warranty. Yesterday my transmission was messed up and would not even go in reverse. I had my car towed to Ortega's and the owner had to nerve to tell my husband that he would not honor the warranty because it is the parts inside the transmission that's messed up. My car hasn't even hit the 12,000 miles mark and it is 1 year and 1 month over the warranty. Freddy at Ortega's told us it would be another $1600.00. Then when my husband confronted him about it not lasting over a year, Freddy said it should have lasted at least 5 years. I will never in my life go back to that place. I expected my transmission to last at least longer than a year!"
