"I don't know what is right. Here is our experience. We paid Apollo $1850 to rebuild the transmission and torque converter in our 1990 gmc 2500. They were very helpful getting it inspected and fixing a problem with the lights. We drove it maybe 1000 miles and the transmission case "ripped". Something my husband or I had never seen, nor anyone we talked to. But it cracked almost all the way around the case where it bolts to the engine. When Apollo looked at it, my husband explained that we had no money and we hoped it would be under warranty. He fixed it, but wanted another $650. He said the only things warranted were the internal components! After keeping the truck several months, we had to sell the rv, which pulling this rv is why we bought the truck, to pay him. He "kindly" took 200$ off and charged us $450, probably to get it out of his very crowded shop. We have no idea if this is standard warranty, but rebuilding a GM transmission ended up costing us $2300 and 2 trips to the shop. That was our experience at Apollo Transmissions."
