"My mother is an incredible lady and set me up for an appointment with this dentist, she felt like our previous dentist wasn’t as good anymore and had heard good things about Joshua Austin, I’ve never met him personally but I have to say we both were extremely disappointed with his staff. I had an emergency come up and had to reschedule a fairly important appointment with them, I called in ahead of time and his staff treated me in a way I’ve never been treated before by a company that is supposed to serve people. Rude, entitled, and down right disrespectful are only a few words that come to mind when describing my interactions with them. They made it very clear that they didn’t need or want my business and that my emergency and need to reschedule meant little to nothing to them. I’m also a business owner, my brokerage has been serving people looking to buy and sell real estate for over a decade. There is a way to treat people and an empathy that comes along with serving people, I don’t leave very many 1 star reviews as a matter of fact if you check my history I’ve left hundreds reviews and only a few have earned the dreaded one star but I think it’s important to leave feedback in a effort to encourage the owners to improve, the scheduling staff needs to learn to treat people with kindness, appreciation, and respect. There may be plenty of business now but word gets out and these types of interactions can hurt a businesses reputation. Don’t appreciate being treated this way by them, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and encourage everyone I know to do the same."

"I only went here because my dentist who was awesome referred me because he is no longer in SA. Dr Austin may be a great dentist.. I only seen him one time and he was very short. I called to do an appointment for cleaning after 6 months and Lorraine advised well Dr Austin’s policy is if you cancel 2 times without 24 hrs notice then you can’t schedule an appointment unless it’s the day of ( good luck with that)so make sure you don’t get sick…I also had a mandatory training at work- I said well ok I’ll just find another dentist. This office seems too busy so I’m sure that they can do without my business. It’s hard to find a good dentist with a good bedside manner.. oh well"
