"Been going to this location for years to back when it was Smile Workshop and while rotating through all of those dentists that have come and gone, the staff have been great and the dentists were good to great. I believe the current one just hurt me on purpose. First off, his bedside manner is horrible - he’s condescending. This is my third experience with him and the first one should’ve been the last. I have what looks like oral lichens planus in my mouth but can’t get a diagnosis because the referrals to UT will not go through and I’m just done dealing with that. Is it the office’s fault? I don’t know, but I told him I called the office to have them fax the referral again but when UT never called back, I just let it go and really forgot about it. So I’m guessing he thought I was suggesting he and his staff are incompetent. And so he proceeded to do the cleaning - I have never had a dentist perform a cleaning - and he was so rough, did not take any care to be gentle AT ALL. I had water all over my face and dripping down my neck. He was moving so fast and fumbling with the instruments. He was chastising me, condescendingly, for my inadequate oral care - I’m not perfect, but the fact that it took him less than 10 minutes to mutilate my mouth and I have no pockets more than 3, means my oral care is not inadequate. So, if you want to go here, just be careful not to make him mad."
