"Terrible place! I was supposed to get a root canal done on a tooth that i didn't realize needed work done, but came out not getting it after all. The dentist said she took care of the problem and it just being a really big filling instead. Now months later I have a real bad tooth ache with a swollen face and I go to an emergency dentist clinic instead, and they told me that same tooth still needed the root canal. I don't understand why I have to go through all this pain when it simply could've been avoided if the dentist would have done the root canal then."

"I was terrified to go to the dentist because I knew I needed teeth pulled. I am embarrassed also by my lack of great dental care. I took a chance on this place. Dr. Rice is nice, professional and non judgmental. I was shocked that I felt nothing. I had four pulled on one side and never knew she got the ones in the back until she said she was done. Just amazing. I think everyone there is nice. Great experience. Going back next week."

"They don't even deserve 1 star just half. I was in there waiting for over an hour! It took 30 min to just get my x-rays done. Yvonne the receptionist has a bad attitude. The doc refused to do my routine cleaning provided free by the insurance because I needed a deeper cleaner. Passed the blame on the insurance that the facility was going to get into trouble. Right away the doc passed me on to Yvonne to explain the paying process. I couldn't understand why they couldn't do the free cleaning. Yvonne then walked out of the room cause she said "im not going to argue with you". I then called my insurance and she 3 wayed the dental office and I told Yvonne that she said she wasn't going to argue with me and walked out. Yvonne then said on a recorded line "Yea i said that because I was going to go off on you girl, I don't care who you are I was going to go off on you" that right there makes the whole office look bad! Ghetto receptionist, con coding to insurance. All that office wants is money from you the patient and from the insurance. STAY AWAY FROM K STREET DENTAL!!"

"I went to this dentist with high hopes. They had a really good review according to my dental insurance. It was an awful experience. From the moment I walked in, it took over an hour and a half just to get my teeth X-rayed. From there, I thought I was going to get my cleaning. The dentist came in, did not even say hello, and just informed me of everything wrong with my teeth. They would not even start the cleaning until I was willing to cash out. It felt more like a business transaction than someone you are going to for primary care. They are slow, not personal, and I highly do not recomend them. If you do go plan on spending your entire day here."

"I am new in the area and among those fearful of going to the dentist but needed a painful wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Rice and her staff are wonderful. I was extremely nervous but they made me feel at ease. The extraction was painless. Quite honestly, I didn't realize the wisdom tooth was out until she put the gauze in. She didn't judge my years of not getting regular dental care. I will be following up with them in a couple weeks to start regular care."
