Valvoline Instant Oil Change

"Service was terrible if you can tell from the images I uploaded they have gotten oil on my filter that was fairly new and they got oil handprints on the filter housing and still drops on the manifold of oil and on the engine cover and over the radiator reserve tank. I am not sure if the filter is loose and dripping oil. This was supposed to be a Full Service Full Synthetic Oil Change. The tire pressure not checked, and the maintenance light was checked off as reset but not reset. Update:4:45 PM Spoke to Valvoline and they connected to manager Anthony and he stated all he could at the moment if for me to bring car in for service again and he didn't have anyone to send to my location. I responded to him I just got home through traffic and was able to go back for service that should be completed correctly the first time. Response: It seems you definitely have an issue with proper maintenance at this location as I am not the only customer that found incorrect or faulty service issues. A refund for my part of the work involve to correct your technician's failures is the best solution."

"I have been to this Valvoline numerous times with multiple vehicles over the last year or more. The truck I took yesterday has been to this location before. Yesterday’s afternoon crew failed to manage the new customers in the staging lanes outside, customers got frustrated and left. No one on the crew knew who should be next in line…. I was the last one in. The yard crew showed up. While my oil was getting changed, the yard crew decided to blow off the parking lot, they blew all the dirt/dust into the 3 bays. Someone shouted “Close the doors!” Someone hit a button and down come the doors, right onto my truck, hitting it. The door went up and the person hit the button again and down it came hitting my truck a second time. Someone hollered to hit the button again, I hollered back “Stop, you’re hitting my truck.” No one came to inspect the damage until I got the attention of the young lady there. They had a heckuva time replacing the air filter, couldn’t re-connect ducting. Guy laid against the fender, pens/phone sticking out of pocket making contact with paint, grease/oil covered shirt. I had to stop him before he scratched my paint. After I spoke to him, he walked away. The young lady finished the air filter. They had me drive out of the bay after checks. No one came out to clean all the oil/grease off the truck at the fender, hood where they grab to close, or at the drivers door where they opened to scan at beginning. I had the young lady come out and look at the oil/grease on paint, she cleaned it. This location is more interested in the “Hard Sell” at the beginning than doing a great job. I would like the area manager to call me to discuss further."

"I wish the trade off was worth a star or two because the customer service and courtesy was amazing but unfortunately the simple mistake made by the tech the first time I ever visited for an oil change led to my car shutting off on me all the next day. Not knowing what was wrong and my check engine light on I got a diagnostic check at an auto parts store when I went for an air filter and it showed my engine was running lean and I may need a fuel pressure test. I then popped the hood myself and saw when my air filter was checked nothing was reconnected the way it should have been and that resulted in my vehicle stalling all day long while I was at work. After reconnecting it myself everything was fine. I will not be returning for future service."

"The service manager greeted all who were pulling up to the bays. She directed the sequence of who was next to enter, taking care to be sure we were able to enter in the order of our arrival. She was courteous and helpful in explaining how they would take care of my transmission fluid change. All the staff were in Valvoline shirts and talked to one another, asking each other for assistance when needed. Everyone was attentive but seemed to be positively engaged in their work."
