"I've been using Ideal Dental for a decade and consistently receive quality dental work. I've even had them fix mistakes other dentists have made. On one occasion, I ventured elsewhere (another local, highly-rated dentist), and they prescribed a bunch of work that I didn't feel like I needed. Upon returning to Ideal, they confirmed (without me directly asking) what work was and wasn't needed- turns out the other dentist's recommendations were unnecessary ($$). Ideal Dental use helpful technology to make the most informed decisions for dental healthcare, and they are very open about all health needs. The dentist shares the pictures and x-rays, discusses what is present, and proposes what is needed. He is congenial and polite, inquires about the family, and tries to make the patient feel comfortable and welcome in the [dreaded] chair. He has never made me feel rushed or like I am just a number in his queue. There seemed to be a new dental assistant in the office on my last visit, to whom all the other staff were very kind and patient. Respect within an office is so important, and since the patients can all observe the staff interactions within a dental office, those interactions have to be held to a high standard. Seeing the more experienced staff taking time to help the staff-in-training, as well as the dentist explaining things to her that my particular situation brought up, showed a level of respect and professionalism that is highly appreciated by observing patients. I realize that, sometimes, the office is quite busy and patients have to wait because its healthcare, not machinery. However, I was on a time crunch on my last visit, in order to get home to relieve the family member watching my small children. I was told I needed several fillings and I asked if I could the work could be addressed immediately, which I was told it could. Despite it taking slightly longer than planned, which was totally according to normal healthcare occurances, I was out of there very quickly and everyone was very respectful of my time. I was so appreciative to have my time handled so well and want to thank the whole team."
"Ive been a patient at Ideal Dental since 2018 with both Ortho and Dental side. I’ve always been respectful and courteous to everyone. But since then a lot of faces are no longer there but the ones remaining have been a positive vibe from day one. The Ortho side has been very professional, respectful, timely, and outstanding with service. Least to say I have had my experience with the Dental side in 2023, and it was not at all a professional and courteous thing atmosphere. New ppl working the front desk that doesn’t relate messages to managers and when reaching out to NEW MGMT/CORP they have NO WORD. I wasn’t satisfied with my cleaning and that’s the bottom line. Promises made but not one kept, and it’s Feb 2024 and still no one has reached out to fix the problem. Yes I’ve sent emails and made calls to (Zaire C.), no follow up to resolve the issue at hand. Hygenist (Alie/Rachel) heck I can’t rmbr their names bcuz they keep changing up but I wasn’t satisfied with her work, addressed it with her, but she ignored me, and moved on to her next patient. How rude n unprofessional??? This should have been addressed promptly. We can pay for the services but we can’t have opinions on the work that was done. This is America I have freedom of speech and I said what I said. I am very fond on hygiene’s and being a diabetic and cancer patient I must take care of my hygiene’s very often. I say this with all due respect this is the very first time I’ve had to come on the reviews to address my concerns and issues. I need this matter addressed and I expect to hear from corporate to fix this matter."
"Dr. Voissem and the staff are great and easygoing, he takes the time to educate you on what’s going on before, during, and after your visit. Very practical and down to earth and I truly appreciate the work they do."
"I am writing this review in regards to my most recent experience with Bridget. I asked about payment options prior to my appointment and wasn't sent the information until 2 hours prior to my scheduled appointment, and when I saw the email it was about 30 mins before my appointment. She stated that she sent the information over to my email about an hour prior to speaking with her, but I was working and also wasn't informed that the email that I would be receiving would be from an external email that doesn't have Ideal Dental listed in the email whatsoever. There is no context listed in the email. I have been going to this dental office since I've moved here in 2021 and now I am really considering never going back again because of my last experience. Bridget wasn't friendly on the phone and I didn't feel heard as a patient. The phone call made me feel as if this office only cares about making money. Now Bridget is saying that I will have to pay $50 for rescheduling even though I was told by Diane that I would not be held responsible for the $50 because it was on the clinic. I spoke with two ladies prior to Bridget about payment options as well and didn't receive the payment options until 2 hours before my scheduled appointment. I don't understand how someone could possibly think that someone can make a sound decision about what payment options that involves credit only minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. I was willing to pay when I get paid on my next paycheck in lump sum, but that was denied and I understand if that's not an option then it's not an option, but the clinic could've at least given an courtesy for rescheduling because I wasn't sent the payment options until last minute."
"I have been an ideal customer for nearly a decade. My recent communication with Bridgette has left me searching for a new dentist office. On a Thursday I received a call to verify insurance, including being asked for the insurance providers phone number. I called back with the information on Friday and all of a sudden it was my job to verify my insurance. I called and the insurance agent did a conference call with Ideal. All of a sudden Bridgette, who refused to provide her last name because she is the only Bridgette and the manager (of course she is), is speaking in a more professional tone. She then proceeds to inquire about the company's website in the event that other patients have the same issue (because now she's concerned). I have escalated this issue past Bridgette and the Arlington location because I can't imagine I am the only customer to which Bridgette has been rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to assist the patient."
