"I am reviewing because I need to be transparent in my disappointment of treatment I received from a business I have been very loyal to for the last past 5 years. The car is a new Volkswagen and I was getting my first oil change since purchase. This last past Saturday I got an oil change from this business. The next day that I drove the vehicle (Monday) the engine light came on. I called the business. The manager refused a refund But assured me the issue can be fixed. When I arrived, He explained that volkswagen's Require precision when filling the oil. He explained that when The oil is overfilled, The engine light will go on showing an error. I was told the oil was drained and The correct amount was put back in. I was assured the problem they caused was fixed. The next day (Tuesday) The engine light came on with the same error message. Same cycle repeated repeated. And when I was leaving , they said it was fixed once again. Once again I was assured the problem they caused was fixed. Wednesday (today) On my way to work I heard a strange rattling noise coming from the bottom of the car. I called the manager and asked if there is a pan under the car that was not replaced correctly when draining the oil. I was once again Assured that the problem could be fixed. On my way to the business from my job. The rattling began to get louder. I called and I explained that I was uncomfortable driving the car because it sounds like it was about to fall apart. I asked if someone could either meet me or come where I was. He said there was no one available. At this point I was panicking because I was scared. He told me not to worry that it is just the plastic piece under the car. My concern was if it broke, it could cause an accident. When I arrived, He allowed me to see under the car and began asking... "who has been driving the car," "am I the only driver" and if I hit something because the pan was broken in the front. I told him I was just here yesterday. Reminding that they reinstalled the pan incorrectly. Then he questioned who performed my oil changes before and I told him they were the first. The person that did the oil change pointed out they did not replace 2 screws and 3 bolts thus this is why this happend. I assume he thought I was not paying attention but I realized they moved the pan forward trying to hide the fact it is broken. I asked what is the plan to get this fixed. He said nothing is broken and there are only a few scuff marks. He also went on to explain that these cars are from the north and the pans are built like this! I went upstairs, took off my suit jacket and laid on the concrete in my work dress infront of everyone... to take a picture of the broken pan. Took it back inside and showed Tony in which he apologized and explained he would rectify everything. My concern is... I am a woman! A woman that was loyal to a business that lied to my face. Where is the integrity? I had to lay on concrete at a mechanic shop in a dress in order to show that I see the malpractice? How would you feel if someone treated your mother, wife, daughter, sister like this? I am so disappointed guys!"
"Update(12/23): Our vehicle completely stopped working 6M after the oil change was done. A mechanic confirmed our vehicle has a bad engine. We've been hearing this from different mechanics and part shops. We've been trying to reach the owner, Tony. The manager said that they had no way or form of communication for him. We waited 2 weeks for a call, so we went back. We were told that we could pay out of pocket to have our car towed to them so they could look at it. I told them I needed to know when so I could go. The gentleman who helped me said, "Why does it matter. You said the car doesn't drive." I need to know so I can be there to sign. It's funny because he remembers me and gave me a new reason why our car leaked all the oil. 5 different mistakes they made. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I took my husband's car back in May due to needing an oil change and previously going there. They did the typical full synthetic oil change with the a/c and wiper fluid inspection. They did not tell me the car had any issues. After driving off the lot, I head home, then to the hospital. The car barely made it to the hospital and began to smoke and knock. The vehicle said to shut off the vehicle immediately because it didn't have any oil. I called them, and they sent a mechanic over. He said that the plug was most likely not all the way in, and that's why it emptied all the oil and put silicone on it. Why didn't they tell me? Well, he puts more oil in, and it leaks it again. I had to leave my appointment early because of this. After an hour, he said it was fine and I would have zero issues. I head home immediately, and not even 4 hours later, it leaked all the oil in our driveway again! We had to have it towed to them. They tried saying that it was a bad gasket , and then they said that a wire pinched the seal. The next day, it was still leaking oil, but they said it was fine it was residue, and it was power steering fluid instead. Our Camaro would not go over 60 miles anymore, and the oil pressure was all over the place. The car now sounded like a tractor. The a/c also stopped working, and they told us we had a leak. We didn't have any leak before, and they didn't say anything when they gave me the car back after they supposedly inspected it. We asked to speak to the owner, and they said they were corporate owned and to call corporate. I do so the following day, and corporate tells me that they are franchise and I need to speak to the owner, but they needed to document who I spoke to since they were pretending to be corporate. I went back and asked to speak to the owner, and they wouldn't give me any information and tried to put the blame on us. They said there wasn't any record of maintenance on the car online, and it has 100,000 , so it's just an old car with a bad engine. I told them we had just done the maintenance and had a mechanic who could prove so and that the car had zero issues before the oil change. We went back because the car stalled 3 times and a few lights came on and the manager started to go off on me, it got to the point that a mechanic had to stop him. The mechanic told me the owner would make it right if the engine went bad, but it wouldn't happen until about 5,000-10,000 miles. Fast-forward a month, and the check engine light comes on, and we take it to autozone, who tells us that it could be over 10 issues regarding the engine, but the engine is done for. My husband goes to talk to them, and they tell him that they don't have the owners information. When something happens, the owner calls them, and they don't call him. They have zero way of keeping in touch with him. We asked if we could at least have documentation of what happened, and they said they couldn't do that either. Of course, because they'd be admitting fault. I definitely do not recommend anyone going here. Unless you want them to kill your engine and have the manager smoke while he "fixes it." We spoke to different mechanics and the dealership regarding the issues, and they could tell the car was done for just by the sound of it."
"Personalized and quick service. Paid for it but it was justified. Work was fine. Five stars because of the staff."
"The only place in south Dallas I’ll take my ride to get work done on my baby. Chris who runs the shop is a man of his word and consistently provides superb service even with my typical worries of “when I’ll get my car back for work”. I trust. You should too."
