"Can't say enough about Dr. Stewart's practice. Dr. Stewart and the entire staff are very friendly, professional and experienced. I, and my family, have been Dr. Stewart's patients since 2009. Dr. Stewart is always learning and I have watched him grow and develop as an excellent dentist and oral care professional. Again, can't say enough positive about Dr. Stewart's practice and his entire staff."
"Stewart is not an ethical provider. His claims of performing “Holistic Dentistry” are laughable at best. He is more interested in your money and accolades than whether or not you get better. I asked him to explain the restoration process that he recommends (crowning ALL MY TEETH) after splint therapy. His answer was “you’ll see”. At +6 months of splint therapy he tried to convince me my jaw was stable. I had repeatedly expressed that I was not ok. He responded by saying “you need to stop dictating your own treatment”. My jaw was not stable. Not even close. He said I needed jaw surgery to correct my airway. He would only refer me to a surgeon friend of his in another state. I chose someone local who actually accepted my insurance. I did NOT need jaw surgery and should have never been referred for it. I had double advancement jaw surgery with a completely unstable jaw. The surgery failed due to the instability. My teeth and bite were ruined. I wasted 7K on braces and even more on surgeon fees and hospital bills. I decided to leave Stewart’s care. Later after not being able to find an ethical practitioner, I made the mistake of calling him to ask for advice and he referred me to a surgeon named Larry Wolford. Dr Wolford is a professional grifter. He ripped me off for 65K OUT OF POCKET He didn’t diagnose anything. He just sold me surgery I didn’t need. Stewart’s actions and advice lead to catastrophic consequences for myself and my husband. It’s really unforgivable. There is a great deal more to my experience with Stewart but all that would make this a book not a review. Avoid this practitioner. Your best interests are not his main priority."
"Consider this: • A dentist first off charges close to 50% more than his competitors for comparable work across the board. • A dentist replaces a crown because it is cracked, but forgets he did it and replaces is again a year later for no good reason. This places unnecessary stress upon the tooth which then forms an abscess and requires a $$$$ implant a year later. He did refund the second crown but it was 1/3 the implant cost. • A dentist says you need a root canal and does it on a tooth that has a crown. He drills through the remaining root and weakens the tooth which falls out months later. He installs a new post and temporary crown which are fine. Then he installs the permanent which I tell him is too long and not fitting right although he insists it is correct. He actually takes a picture of the new crown as he is so proud of the work his lab tech did. The new crown slams into another tooth within 3 months, causing trauma and a broken tooth requiring a $$$$ implant. There was another way to safely do the root canal, which he recommended AFTER the fact. Cost me $$$$ and did not save the tooth. This one tooth alone cost me close to $8K. • A dentist who you have seen for years walks in and says his new wife will be taking over for him on your procedure today with no notice because “he is busy”. No warning, no options. I have never met her until this moment. • A dentist is so involved in his personal life and other money grabbing pursuits that he is often difficult to schedule. • These pursuits include things like a recommending $7500 sleep guard he sells that he insists will help you sleep better. Another dentist tells me I was smart to avoid as it would have impacted the alignment of my teeth potentially resulting in broken teeth. • This dentist accepts no insurance, is not affiliated with any dental plan, but will happily file the paperwork for you after you pay 100% of his high rates. You lose all the benefits of the insurance company price negotiation. He was good years ago, but seems to have lost his way. Is this a dentist you want to consider?"
"I have been a patient of Dr. Stewart for many years. There is a reason for that---He is a fabulous dentist! He goes the extra mile to insure my dental health. Always. His entire staff is professional, well informed and I call them all "Friends"."
"I have always had a fear of the dentist and had not been in quite a while. After coming to Dr. Stewart my view on the dentist has completely changed. Everyone at the office was beyond nice and truly cared for how I felt during the appointment. I will be going to Dr. Stewart for all dental care due to how caring, precise, and thorough he is. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Stewart and his staff!"
