Summit Dental Care

"This group charged $433 to fill one cavity (non insurance/cash pay price). We were told 3 teeth needed a filling at the cost of $433 per cavity. Summit justified the high cost bc each tooth was a 4 surface level cavity. Fast forward 5 months later - we discovered one cavity wasn’t filled properly. It had to be completely removed and redone by another dentist because there was decay still left behind. Not only that, but the repair was a 2 surface repair. How does a cavity go from 4 surface level to 2 surface level? Hmm .. Our new dentist told me he has never heard of a 4 surface level cavity in his 30 years and removed and correctly filled the tooth for less than $200 - which is a typical cash pay price we learned. We asked summit for a refund for the 1 cavity (fair considering our child didn’t feel comfortable going back) and they refused and stopped responding completely. Very disappointed that they would take advantage like this. If you’re going to charge double the norm and inflate the severity of the cavity - at least fill it properly."

"Dr. Crawford is the best! HE cleans your teeth, not a technician. All of the staff are responsive and friendly. Great follow-up when needed. I do wish they accepted Care Credit, but they do have they're own payment options for more expensive procedures. Highly recommend!"
