"Room was dated and the bathroom was dusty but the facility felt safe and the furnishings other than the dusty trim were clean. The water pressure was so high that it was painful. We also had to unplug the air freshener since I have severe allergies that were triggered by the fragrance. We couldn’t get the wifi or tv working but didn’t notify the desk of the issues since we were exhausted and didn’t need to use them. Overall it was obviously not the best hotel but for the price it felt safe, the staff was friendly and it was in a good location. I’d definitely stay here again."

"I called to reserve a room and was quoted $119 after being completely upfront that o had pets with me. Upon arrival, I was charged an additional $45 for "taxes and pets fees." When my husband spoke with the manager, the manager was very respectful and gave us a partial refund. Overall good experience."

"The room was in very good condition, and was either recently updated, or just well maintained. The common lobby area could use updating however, and caused some apprehension until I saw my room. And, doing some basic landscaping would go along way. Nonetheless, for the value and condition of the room- a solid 4 rating and they easily could get a 5 rating if they address landscaping and the lobby."

"The room was very clean without smelling terrible, and the staff were exceptional. Sam and his wife took extraordinary measures to help me get my phone back after I forgot and left it in our room. Service beyond expectation! I also really appreciate that you can have your pet, and it was at a reasonable pet fee, and they had a nice area for them to walk and pooh, without having to step in others. We have tried 3 other places in Van Horn, and will not go any where else now, highly recommended."
