"I really enjoy this company! This was my first time ever shipping a vehicle. And they were very communicative with me and kept me updated the whole time. My car was picked up and shipped on time with no troubles."
"I'm a second time customer and I can't give this company enough stars (KY-based, since I've read there's 2 companies that people get confused). The first time I needed their assistance (2013) everything went smooth as could possibly be. Picked up by the time needed and delivered the next day! (Fort Benning to Houston). The second time I needed a vehicle moved, unfortunately my husband went with a different company because they quoted $100 cheaper. Let me tell you, this other company made us feel like we were a total inconvenience over the phone and we never received follow-up calls. I believe they just listed our vehicle on the dispatch and just sat and waited for someone to pick it up. I knew we needed to switch to Safe Way Auto Transport because Ray was always a pleasure to work with over the phone. So we switched and Ray was giving us regular updates and he went the extra mile to find us a carrier. He made phone calls out to people he knew to see if they were on our route (VA to WA). Ray went the extra mile to find us a carrier, he didn't just sit back and wait. He put the customer first! Thank you Safe Way! We'll be contacting you again in 5 months for another move :) -Janice (Charlottesville, VA)"
"I must write review for this guy for sure, he will take care of your car as he is shipping his own car. Of course, he will work with different truck drivers, but Ray assigned one drive for my car (California to Indiana) and that guy (Andrew) shipped my car in 3 days, wow and his name was Andrew. I love Safe Way Transportation. More over price is good and Yes i recommend this for double sure."
"I am extremely disappointed and upset with Safe Way Auto Transport. I was referred to them by United Van Lines. I spoke to Ray Leach and scheduled pick up on a Saturday. Ray reassured me that my car would reach its destination by the following Wednesday. A few days before the scheduled pick up Ray called to inform me he contracted another company (White Knight?) to move the car. They told me they would arrive to pick up the car on Saturday afternoon. On the scheduled date, abound 3pm I called them to get an ETA and they said they were "uh about 500 miles away". After some back and forth they said they would arrive on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday morning I left Ray a message that they failed to show up and he did not return my call. On Sunday I waited until 11 pm and they did not arrive to pick up the car, at which point I left them a message that I was no longer interested in their services. On Monday morning the United sales representative who referred me to Safe Way also tried reaching them. Ray did not return his call either. I ended up having to make an unplanned two-day road trip myself to get the car to its destination on time. I had a very bad experience with Safe Way Auto Transport and I suggest you stay away from them!"
"I did a lot of research on auto transport companies. I found that there are two different safe way auto transport companies. This good one in Kentucky, and another one in Michigan that did not have good reviews with BBB. The safe way in KY had a perfect record with BBB, and I didn't find anything negative online. It was the only company I researched I didn't find any negative comments on. I called Ray. He took my order, did not require a deposit from me, as I wanted to ship it ASAP, and get it there with a time restriction of no delivery on Friday night or Saturday. He arranged a pick up within a couple days, and the car was in Richmond VA from AZ in 4 days in the same condition I sent it in. The price was all inclusive at 900 dollars, which was also the best price I had received in online quotes. After I got the contract, I was contacted by JK trucking who was the trucking company out of Los Angeles that Ray brokered for. Andrew there was so accommodating, and made several calls to me to follow up on the driver coming and the driver's delivery status. The family called me and told me the car looked like new, which it did! So the car got there in great shape. This was the best car shipping experience I have had. I would use them again in a heartbeat."
