"I don’t have a problem going over bridges.. this one in particular makes me so nervous. I cannot get over it fast enough. They have suicide prevention signs before you get on the bridge from both directions. Which is great.. right? But it makes me so uneasy. I have to get off on the first exit after to take a break and calm down. And the road on this bridge is not smooth, there are bunch of patches."
"If you’re looking to go from Kentucky to Illinois than look no further, a fine bridge that smoothly conveys its travelers."
"This bridge is an awesome feat of engineering. Built in the 20's. It's just a short detour off rt 24. It's the most beautiful bride I've ever gotten to experience. The lanes are narrow and the steel deck is see through. It would be scary on a bike though."
"Ever watch a nascar race at Watkins Glen International? The super fast road course that has the blue guardrails lining the track. Whenever there is a crash, it's always a big one. This bridge is like that."
