"After them not accepting a call in prescription, I had to go get a paper one. Dropped off. Waited all day for it to be filled, called because we all know they never have anything ready then they say they called me when they never did. Can’t get my medicine still because they don’t take paper prescriptions for that medicine. How convenient since my doctor is closed now and I can’t get my medicine for yet another day. Other scripts stay in the ‘processing’ stages for days without any explanation. Never again will I go here. If you want to wait days and possibly never get your medicine this right here is the place for you!"
"Rude Pharmacist (I was told her name was Michelle) January 28-February 1, I had tried calling the pharmacy to speak to a Technician about my prescriptions, with no one to ever answer the phone. Days later, When I arrived at the store there was a note on the door saying the pharmacy was closed-drive thru only. The drive thru line was 9 cars long and all I needed was a question so I advised by the store manager to proceeded back to pharmacy area. When the pharmacist approached, I was told my medication was not in stock and when I explained how due to them not answering the phone this will delay my medication another 4 days. She stepped away, she threw her hands up in the air yelling and stating “ that’s not our fault we are short staffed with only 3 people”. I explained, please don’t yell at me, that I was just a customer who relies on them to uphold and perform their services and expectations. She closed the window on me and walked away while continuing to yell loudly about my prescription information with other persons in the store and drive thru window open. I clearly was embarrassed by her reaction as well as for her! I have met some nice staff in the past and I enjoy the store attendants however over the past 6 months, I have seen this woman on numerous occasions speak loudly and rudely to other customers even elderly. I returned to my car and called CVS corporate and reported her incompetent customer service behavior. I’m not sure how the corporate will approach the situation but I’ve seen so much rudeness over the past couple of months from this location from various pharmacy technicians and the turn around of technicians speaks for itself. My insurance is partnered with CVS so I will speak to them as well. I’ve decided to find another location for now, even if I have to drive to Lexington. So disappointed"
"The employees are polite. That is the only good thing I can say about CVS. New prescriptions and refills remain "in process" for days, and I've had to go without needed meds many times. Every month they are out of stock on an auto-refill prescription. It takes several attempts and long hold times to reach a live person on the phone. The mobile app is clumsy and displays inaccurate and/or conflicting information. They open later than any other pharmacy and only recently improved their closing times. I've put up with this lunacy only because they are the "preferred" pharmacy with my medical insurance, but I'm changing to another pharmacy even if I have to pay more."
"The pharmacist on duty on the afternoon of January 8, 2023 was very helpful with informations about drug interactions and side effects of my prescribed drugs, so I was able to make a good decision. At the entrance the store assistant was very nice greeting and offering help immediately. The only problem I have with CVS in general is the conflict of interest by owning Aetna as a health insurance as well. This shouldn't be allowed by law."
"We have been pharmacy customers for almost 10 years and I can honestly say I have not ever been so disappointed in a pharmacy as I have been with CVS Frankfort. The staffing situation is atrocious. I understand staffing issues happen but when they continue months on end it becomes unacceptable. The hours have significantly reduced the opportunities a person has to pick up their medications. Plus on more than 1 occasion they have closed without any notice. I received a text stating my prescription was ready for pick-up only for them to be closed once I arrived. I'll mention we have a 20 minute drive. Talk about irritated. Then let's talk about the availability of medications. I have 2 children who take medications that they simply cannot do without. 1-2 weeks wait or longer is absolutely ludicrous. I truly do not understand why these issues seem to be of no concern to staff or management. I have tried to be an understanding person but the issues just keep continuing. Our insurance contracts with CVS but we ultimately may have to find a new pharmacy and just deal with the cost. Which shouldn't ever have to happen. I hate leaving negative reviews but I feel this has been warranted. And yes I am fully aware that CVS could care less about losing us as a customer and I honestly don't know if reviews are even read, but it is my hope that maybe with enough people speaking out that someone will take notice and see the huge problem."
