"I bought a washer and dryer through them, and I like the items. They have worked well. The issue I have with this company is that they have the option for “easy pay”, but every few weeks/ months they will call me and say I owe a payment and that I don’t have “easy pay” on, even though I have set it up several times. They have also charged me multiple times on the same day, etc., and it is starting to feel like a scheme to get late fees. It’s very annoying to set up auto-pay so that I don’t have to worry about paying attention to sending in payments, only for them to shut it off and then bother me every few months about it ."
"Never Again! This was the first time I placed an order with Aaron's. I placed it online, completed the application, paid the deposit, which was immediately charged. I contacted all of my references so that they would not be put off by this call from a strange company and waited. When I heard nothing by the next day, I contacted the store directly and was asked to leave a message for the manager. The manager called back and told me the items could not be delivered for at least a week! Apparently, their truck only comes in once a week (????). I was immediately put off but since I had already paid, I went along. A few hours later, I receive an email that my order was canceled. I called the number on the email and was told it was because they could not reach my references, due to invalid phone numbers (I had spoken to them the day before btw) or a reference could not verify where I worked(Why verify my employment through my friend when you have my employer information on the application? CALL THE EMPLOYER!). I asked if we could verify that the numbers were correct and they said they could not because the order was already canceled. Even worse, my deposit will not be refunded for 5-10 business days! I asked why since it did not take 5-10 days to charge it! Anyway, I am stuck waiting for my deposit, when if I went elsewhere, I could have had my order filled on the same day. Never again Aarons! Never again!"
"I will never rent from them again! When they moved my furniture the first time I got it back with chips and paint missing. Then today they moved it and forgot my nightstand in their truck which had very important belongings in it! It’s 20 minutes til closing and they will not answer my calls. I’ve called atleast 10 times and nobody will answer. I do not recommend!"
"I have never had a problem with Aaron's until today. I made a payment on my accounts and I always screenshot all my payments for my record's. I call in the store about my balance and the man that answer the phone tried to tell me part of my account wasn't paid . He didn't even want to hear that I had proof that it was paid. So my wife call and a lady answered the phone and all she kept saying is I dont handle accounts and and so she tried to transfer her to the man that I spoke with. So if the manager is not in seems as no one else want to understand. I would have email my screenshot to show proof but neither one of them wanted to here it. I will never buy another thing from Aarons"
"If I could give Aaron's less than 1 star then I would. When I went in to get the furniture everything was good. Jason "the manager" explained everything to me and even asked me if I would like to make $25 off my next payment by taking a survey online. I did the survey and when I went in to pay on the 15th, they took the $25 off to make my payment come to around $130. I thought everything was good until I got a phone call around the 1st of the month saying that I still needed to pay $25 from my previous payment. I explained to the lady that Jason took off $25 because I did the survey. She told me that there was nothing in the notes saying that Jason took the $25 off. So they were trying to charge me the $25 plus the late fees so the total came to $113. Needless to say, she called me probably 8 times in one day trying to resolve their issue and every time she called I literally explained it to her every single time and she still didn't get it. I finally realized it wasn't going to get resolved and they were just trying to get more money from me. I made them come get the furniture a few days later and they have the audacity to ask me if I was going to keep paying them money for the extra two days until they could come get everything. So my advice to anyone looking for furniture....DON'T go to Aaron's because they're sleazy people and will try to get extra money from people. Plus I was told the furniture was new and when they brought it to me the back of the love seat was torn up so it was clearly used and they were charging me 3 times what the furniture was worth. DON'T GO TO AARONS!!"
