"Definitely th best BBQ I've had in a while, absolutely fantastic food, and friendly service. They were running out of items, so I'd recommend going earlier in the night. I had ribs, brisket, coleslaw, baked beans and green beans. All very good! Highly recommend!"

"I saw this place while in line at the nearby Taco Bell drive-thru. I like to eat at more family run places when traveling for business, so I pulled out of the line and checked the reviews of this place. I'm glad I did. It is an old house they converted into a restaurant. Not a lot of seating inside, but apparently they do a lot of carry out. I got the Big Fed Up sampler with ribs and brisket. The brisket had a good crust and flavor. The ribs were good, too (ask for the spicy BBQ sauce). For sides, the yams and Mac and cheese were great-very similar to how I make at home. Yams were sweet, and Mac and cheese very creamy. The potato salad was very good-an Amish/mustard style. Banana pudding was great as well."

"I got the pulled pork and the brisket with Mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread. This was super delicious and I got enough to have 2 meals out of it. I will recommend for sure. Very happy with my food!"

"Update on this Review.....read below. From the moment we walked in we knew that we had made the right choice. The staff here was very pleasant to talk with and took time to explain what was on the menu. We ordered a variety of things from the menu so we could get a good idea of their smoking skills. We enjoyed sliced brisket, half a rack of ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, peach cobbler and nanner pudding. A very nice gentleman (Mr Hicks) seated in the restaurant mentioned that we should try the fried cabbage, he ask the young lady in the kitchen to put an order of it in our order and he would pay for it. When we return to this restaurant we will be looking for him, to personally shake his hand and thank him for turning us on to the fried cabbage. This was one of the best things that we have tried in our travels. I will say that each and every item that we had was very good, we will be returning and recommending this place to everyone that is in this area. My wife really wants the recipe for the fried cabbage so that we can make it at home. UPDATE: Today (10/27/2022) we stopped in while passing through. We asked for a half pound of sliced brisket (thin sliced), 2 Italian sausage sammiches, sweet potato side and a fried cabbage side. The two sides were the highlight, they both were great. The brisket was way over done and the Italian sausages were over cooked. We had asked for both spicy mustard and honey mustard but only the spicy mustard was in the bag when we got back to the hotel. We had very high hopes for this place but we will not be going back. Sad that they can't dial in the consistency. This was our 3rd visit, our second visit was a bit off also but decided to try them one more time."

"Wed, 22 Dec 2021 Disappointed with my dinner this evening from FedUp. Looks like I got leftovers in the pan with the exception of the yams and cornbread which I finished. The other two - pulled pork and mac and cheese I just could NOT. I try to support specific local businesses but I do want better than this when spending my hard earned dollars. Looks like I'll have to take a break from FedUp. BREAK I've dined here one other time and have had them cater at a birthday party I hosted. My new favorite place to eat! Food, customer service, cleanliness, all of it ... outstanding!! Most definitely I will eat here again and recommend it as well."
