"We ate there today on February 11 , we have been coming here for roughly 40 years because of great food and prices, it’s been sold twice in the past few years, we ordered today and the menu says choose your egg style and potatoes, sausage or bacon , but when you go to pay your $11 meal turns into $18-$19 dollars per person because your orange juice is $4 than they charge you for your side that they ask you to choose as your side, that’s $2 than if you pay credit card they charge 4 percent. I will not go back again after being over charged . Plus they up charged $1 for large orange juice when we asked for kids size juice. Family tradition just changed ! Not going back to a rip off."
"Vacationing from Aransas Pass,TX we stopped over because we had heard that the bartender (Johnny) who previously worked at Pier 19 which fortunately had burned down on S Padre Island, was now working here as their bartender. He was awesome then and even more so now! He especially makes an exceptional Tequila Mexican Martini! Happy hour was great with him and many laughs with friendly locals and “Winter Texans”. We then enjoyed a fabulous dinner at their restaurant. My husband had the scrumptious oyster platter and I had a very tasty Grilled fish dinner with veggies. Our server, Vickie was excellent,. Very friendly, efficient and attentive. Overall experience was great and affordable. Plan on returning next time in town!"

"New owners. The remodeled rooms are very nice. Big screen TVs in all the rooms. Boat and RV storage available with boat lifts for use of boat ramp when using facility and management is very accommodating. Great place to launch and have access to the bay to catch lots of fish. They also have a restaurant. Service is good."
