"This place was so packed when we arrived around 12 pm on a Saturday. Food was good, tortillas are home made and soft. They have a good selection of meals on the menu. My only concern was the waiting time. We waited about 45 minutes for a table then over half an hour for our food to arrive."

"One of the Best Mexican breakfast. Food takes longer to be served because it’s all makes from scratch. Big portions are served. You must try the homemade flour tortillas. It is super big and delicious. The chilaquiles were little bit spicy but so delicious. When you come to South Padre Island, you must force a stop at Port Isabel to eat here. I read comments about the American breakfast served here. We didn’t order any of that so I can not provide feedback on that price. If you are looking for genuine Mexican food for a great price come here. If you want American food, you may want to look somewhere else. There is only 1 restroom for both men/ women and it’s clean also. I would definitely come back."
