"Took my car their to get my A/C compressor replaced. He replaced it with one from salvage yard which I was ok with. Took my good serpentine belt off replaced with one that later down the road I found out didn't fit. It was hanging underneath my car a few days "after". My oil light would come on when I turn the AC on. When I cut the AC off the oil light would then cut off. After I paid him $280 I gave him a $20 tip then he began sending inappropriate text that I had to shut him down because I wasn't entertaining. I've been calling texting and going to the shop no response. I had my bf call he answered and said he would meet us at the shop. He didn't show up. It's really ridiculous. And ppl on FB referred me to him. I'm so pissrd. So I'm gonna try to take the next steps since he won't respond and that's court. I took my car to a different shop to see if they could replace my belt. They tried and said the compressor was sitting sideways. Not installed correctly. They could put the correct belt on but it will eventually fall off like the last one. And told me I needed another compressor still because the other one has broken some other things under the hood. More $$$$$$ that I don't have. Wish I could give 0 stars"
"So, this guy forgot to screw on my CV joint so my wheel was wobbling. I fixed it myself. Then I texted them this... "Hey man, something is up with the suspension on my sebring I'm pretty sure. Will you be available around 3? How much would you charge to check it out and tell me what I need to do?" And I got this response... "Well a man needs to be in control of his own Affairs so I suggest you govern your own affairs" I've never had such a bazaar experience like that. Terrible and weird way to do business. 0 stars for me."
"Harley is a honest machanic, won't rip you off by pushing unnecessary repairs. I brought my car in after taking it somewhere else and was told I needed a lot of work $$$. However Harley informed me on what was truly nessessary at the time and where to find the parts at a lower cost. I ordered the parts on line and brought them back to Harley and he had it finished and back to me the next day. Thanks a bunch."
"Don't get me wrong, the people were nice and seemed like good people, which I don't want to slander, however, I brought my car to repair a starter. Had no problems with my engine before. After a brought it to get repaired, there was a loud knock from the engine that wasn't there previous to what they had done. He said a whirring noise but I thought he had just meant the pitch from the engine. No more than a day later, I'm already bringing it to someone else because it doesn't seem right, but low and behold, my car engine gives at an intersection and smoke comes from under the hood. Have to call a tow truck and drop it off by their place again because I want whoever worked on it to fix the problem I didn't have before, but to my surprise, the guy was arrested and no one else could run the shop (luckily, his brother was friendly enough to call me and tell me about the towing warning, I did appreciate that). I even went to some shops next to them and they even told me that they didn't want to get involved with my car cause cops are involved with the shop owner frequently, which I understood from a business perspective. Finally got my car salvaged, but this was my first time going to a shop in Arlington and for something like this to happen is irritating. Had to end up getting my car salvaged and get a different car. Proceed with caution."
"Amazingly honest people! Loved these two people. I blew into town trying to trade my car in and they gave me an honest assessment of the car I was wanting to buy as pre-purchase. I decided against the deal..and then in turn offered to put MY vehicle on a 21 point check for FREE. Please go see these guys for repair, prepurchage for all your auto repair needs. I drive 182 miles and was very pleased. Rick and Harley are awesome! THANK YOU BOYS!"
