"Wow. Best Indian food in Austin. I can say that living in England spoiled me...all the Indian food in Austin is just average--but here we had great, full flavor in our curries (butter chicken and spinach something w cheese) with garlic naan and the atmosphere / vibe was really on point too, music and all. We tried a rice pudding for dessert which really ended things nicely. Service was stellar and so friendly. We'll be back again and again."
"This was a great pick me up on a real dud of a day. Honestly, one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. The only better I can think of was a tent in the black hills, so hit this one up when you've got the chance. We were seated quickly, right next to a cool stone sculpture of an Indian temple (?). We ordered the paneer chilli as an appetizer, tandoori chicken, and the house chicken curry with some garlic naan bread. Before the food came a sort of seeded cracker with two types of chutneys. Think Indian chips and salsa, but not at all those flavors. The cracker was kind of bitter with seeds, but the chutneys were both fairly sweet. It wasn't my favorite thing, but I enjoyed being able to try something new. The paneer chilli came out hot, crispy, and coated in a super delicious chilli sauce. We ordered everything mild. The tandoori chicken was so tender, and the sauce that came with it was smooth and creamy. The house chicken curry was a new one, but we enjoyed it, and noticed it came with a lot more chicken pieces than other Indian restaurants we've visited. The naan bread here is unique. The restaurant sells curry pizza, and the naan bread seemed to be a little more like pizza dough and didn't have the traditional naan shape. We were well taken care of and always had enough water and rice, and we had plenty of food to take home with us. Addition: Came back again and ordered the veggie samosas, paneer palaak (saag), and the tandoori chicken and naan. The samosas were a thin, piping hot pastry with a comforting potato mash inside. They were filling and homey. The palaak paneer was very good and a but spicy. The tandoori chicken was good like last time, though the pieces seemed smaller. The naan was very light and delicious. Good stuff."
"My sister recommended this place and I was pleased. The atmosphere is great and the food was delicious! I would definitely come back to try more and other foods. The staff was friendly and attentive. Good place!"
"My family told me this place was good, but it was great! We had the chicken Tikka pizza, lamb Tikka masala, butter chicken, lam buryani, goat curry, cheese and garlic Naan, dumplins in the soup and mango lassi. ALL of it was delicious!"
