"My family and I stopped by The Moon Tower along with a large group of college football fans/friends for the big game. We had a great night all around but what makes me want to write this review is the one of a kind service my family received on our visit. There aren't enough praises to sing for the incredible hospitality and sheer human kindness that my family received from our incredible server, Nya. Despite a very busy bar and a lively crowd, Nya made our table feel special. No doubt our service was prompt and conversations were great but what made me want to write this review is Nya made my mom feel like a queen for the night. She made a delicious non alcoholic drink for my mom, the two of them talked about family, fashion and purses, and Nya simply radiated kindness all night - she treated my mother like her own and by the end of the night Nya and my mom were hugging like they were best friends. And Nya did all this despite a packed house on a busy night. Thank you Nya. My family will stop by more often for more chicken wings! And thank you to the Moon Tower for giving a bunch of longhorns a place to gather for our big game. Awesome night, great venue, food, atmosphere, and ownership. I don’t even usually write reviews but fr for this visit I had no choice. Ask for Nya - she’s Mom + dad certified and party certified. Nya, you the real MVP!!"
"First time and last time. There was a kids soccer team fundraiser (at a BAR???), and the small staff was completely overwhelmed. The food was good, but way overpriced for the portion size. The kitchen messed up my order and was super slow. The restroom floor was beyond sticky, and should've been cleaner given they'd only been open for a couple of hours. On top of that, the lights in the restroom shut off while I was in the stall, I had to operate in the pitch black. Thus place has great potential given its proximity to UTEP, but management needs to fix these blindspots. How about we start by not filling a bar with 12 year olds and their obnoxious parents??"
"Wings were spot-on, you can’t go wrong with the $6 Smash Burger on Mondays. Usually watch the UFC fights here, TVs are plentiful and placed correctly. Great specials and music set the mood."
"We went there after a concert on a Saturday night. It's a sports bar with a few arcade games. The best thing was that it was open until 2am. Their drink selection is limited though. We tried to order a frozen margarita and a Kahlúa with coke, and they neither have a blender nor Kahlúa. We ended up settling for a beer and a margarita on the rocks and we were lucky they could scrape enough salt together for the rim. Not the best first impression for a bar."
"Besides being a dump sports bar, this establishment punishes its patrons if they act responsible and Uber home after consuming alcohol. Basically, they double dip. You spend money at this bar and after you’re forced to pay them a $168 fine to recover your vehicle when you come back for it. Talk about being socially irresponsible and not preventing drunk diving. They don’t protect their consumers, they punish them. Yes, there are signs of “towing enforced” placed at the very entrance of the lot that is located off of Mesa which is a fast, busy street. Do you actually get a chance to read it before driving through? And even if you got a chance to read it, this bar wants you to drive home intoxicated. So imagine, everyone driving out of this parking lot is without a doubt intoxicated. And while they don’t own the parking lot, they serve lots of liquor and just for that reason alone, are responsible for safety."
