"Roger Williams body shop sucks. I was waiting to post this review until I knew how I was going to get my car repaired properly. After giving them 2 attempts to fix my car correctly they want a 3rd chance. I'm afraid of inducing more damage to the vehicle. I've been a customer of RW collision for many years and I always recommended them to people because they have done great work for me in the past. But they really dropped the ball on my van. Initial quote said they would replace the damaged section of the rear quarter and repair the lift gate. They ended up doing the opposite. I still don't understand why they replaced the whole lift gate. Between poor seam sealer technique, missing hardware, broken pieces, petrified tape on the roof, pry marks on trim pieces, etc. I just can't justify taking my car back again. I have attached before and after photos. Really disappointed in this experience. They want to stand behind the fact the "repair" is not visable and is an "adequate" repair in their opinion. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. "I have been very pleased with their service department. I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara (that I purchased used, at another dealership, two years ago). It has needed several significant repairs, and fortunately I purchased the extended warranty. I was a little concerned I might not be as welcomed by the service department since I did not purchase the Jeep through Roger Williams. That concern was quickly erased and I am very grateful for the hard work that McKenzie has put into helping me each time I've had to take it in for a repair. She has been most helpful working with the warranty company, making the calls and verifying coverage and then keeping me updated throughout the repair process. The technicians are very well qualified and I could not be happier with their work. Thermostat, Rocker Arms, and Oil Cooler...all three have been addressed and I have had no issues following their work. Thank you McKenzie, and to the technicians who have taken pride in their work and provided me with quality service and confidence in my Jeep."
"I have had nothing but bad experiences since day 1. Brand new jeep renegade battery kept dying. When I would get it towed up there they would advised diagnostic is good and they aren’t sure why. I was advised they replaced 1 of the batteries. I believe my car has 2, but that’s what they say. It’s does since. Brand new off the lot couldn’t figure out what it was or recall. I really believe they were trying to get me past the 36000 miles so it’s not on them. It started doing this at 21000 miles. Needless to say never fixed. Then I’m told they have to order filters call ahead. It’s been times I have and they say bring it and never orders the filter. So I supposedly got new oil change with old filter. Then when it has come in they swap it out. But no one is re given back oil and topping off any other fluids needed or anything. Then I can’t get people on the phone recently. They transfer you before you can finish your sentence. The phone just rings. Sometime you get voicemail and sometime you get hung up on. No matter what time of the day I call. Leave voicemails and they never return my call. Beyond frustrating. I even explained to service the situation and don’t want to waste my time coming up there with our proper filters Can they just write a note to an agent and have them order it. I’m already in the system they know about this. Nope! Message never given. Terrible experience I ever dealt with at any type of dealership. Can never get a manager. Just terrible. I definitely do NOT recommend."
"First off the one star review is for their "used vehicle sales team" and not the service department. I've always had very good experience with my vehicles being serviced here. So with that out of the way, here's my story. I noticed just recently they have a used 21 Dodge Challenger I was possible interested in with a trade on my end. The trade-in being a 21 RAM Rebel with 32800 miles. Had a sales team member contact me saying they "wanted" my trade-in since they dont get a lot of them. Had me text photos of the vehicle and all the info to them. Now here's the part that gets good. Current BLACK BOOK on the RAM on rough trade-in 38K with a high end value 43.8K. These "low-Ballers" come back with a 37K trade-in value on the proposal via text. I just shock my head in disgust and texted back the sales person this wasn't going to happen. In the end, Im happy it didn't work out with this low-ball dealership. I took my money elsewhere and received an offer of 41.5K for the RAM and purchased a Widebody Challenger from this other dealership with NO hidden fees. *****Follow-up****** Give you a future shot? Yeah, thats never going to happen. Also, the offer was NO where close to even a FAIR price. Heck, I might have even made the drive to your dealership to work on deal even with a FAIR trade-in offer in mind. Being offered below wholesale is just crazy. When you have 4 different resources (Black Book, NADA, KBB, Edmunds) all tell you your vehicle is worth "X" amount and you offer BELOW even the lowest of what these guides offer. That's screwing the Customer!"
"We had the best car experience ever here. No pressure from anyone, and we got an awesome used car at a great rate. We were not kept waiting forever. We got there at 2pm and left at 5pm, all paperwork signed, with the truck we wanted at a price we could afford. Rob Howard was warm, friendly, and personable. He has a great sense of humor, too. He really sets the bar high on giving a great customer experience. Thank you, Rob, and the finance guy too, although I am sorry I can't remember your name. I would highly recommend this dealership in Weatherford to anyone looking for a vehicle. I am someone who hates the whole car buying experience and salespeople. But Rob and this dealership have changed my mind."
