"Absolutely the best by far chicken fried chicken we have tasted. Perfectly cooked tender chicken and the batter was seasoned excellent. Gravy was bonus! The restaurant is the cleanest I have been in. Usually restaurants can have their smell .... but the smell was just fresh and clean. To.cook fried foods, you do not smell any grease smell or take it with you on your clothes when you leave. The cooks and wait staff were excellent with their service and kindly asked how our food tasted while keeping our tea glasses full?? Their is great team of very nice staff at this Weatherford Cotton Patch. Great job Sam to you and your friendly team that served us. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back for sure!"
"Just wanted a bite to eat so the manager at JC Penny's suggested Cotton patch Cafe. The service was great from May-C. Food was good."
"My first time here, had such a great variety on the menu. It was hard to choose, and the sides there were so many. I ended up getting grilled chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, baked squash. The second one I got pork chops, broccoli with cheese, and baked squash. The third dinner I got was meatloaf, baked squash, and broccoli with cheese. They all came with rolls, the young lady that waited on me was named Tristen she is only sixteen but she was sweet as could be. This was probably her first job, but she was very polite and very attentive. I will definitely be going back to this establishment, it was so awesome. If you're going through Weatherford you need to stop at Cotton patch Cafe, you will not regret it."
"I cannot comment on service, nor atmosphere, as this was a delivery order. Tonight, I placed an order for two ribeye steaks, medium rare, both with fried okra, a loaded baked potato, and an extra side which was broccoli rice casserole. When I got the food and opened it up inside, I was a bit taken aback. The two "loaded baked potatoes" were just two plain potatoes, with one not very big bowl of sour cream, a few green onions and bacon bits, maybe 12-13 visible stands of cheese and there may be butter in there, as well. I guess the two potatoes are meant to share this bowl of toppings to make them "loaded". Next, I opened the two containers that held the broccoli rice casserole. The small bowls were not even half filled. Neither bowl even had the bottom completely covered by the broccoli rice casserole. I could put both orders into one bowl and there would still be room for plenty more. Next up, the steaks, and okra, as they were boxed together. The steaks has a nice appearance and aroma, and were of acceptable size for the price. However, the okra... The ones was served in a tiny... Jello-shot? type plastic container. There just wasn't much to either order, as you can see in the photos. I dumped both okra orders out onto a sheet of foil to reheat a bit in the oven, as it was rather soft and squishy, and as you can see in the pics, the two okra orders together do not even look like enough for a single order. I think I counted 18 small, squishy pieces, collectively. For the price, you can definitely find much better, especially when it comes to portion sizes."
"I suggest going somewhere else for a nice sit down dinner. Its fine for a chain restaurant. The food is consistent with regular cotton patch food (diner food). The service is incredibly slow (likely staffing issues). We order food here regularly for my disabled grandmother. Sometimes we pick it up and Sometimes we order through doordash. The portions provided are frequently inconsistent. When we pick up, it frequently takes 15+ minutes to be acknowledged. One good thing is that the establishment seems to be very clean. The waitresses have a generally positive attitude. The picture attached of the meatloaf is how the meal was delivered from doordash. No refunds provided. Manager gave a meal "credit". Then when we tried to use the "credit", they didnt know what we were talking about. Overall frustrating experience."
