Plateau Truck Stop

"I was looking forward to the authentic Mexican restaurant that had great reviews. Unfortunately, this place seems to have changed ownership, and the new owners have replaced it with an Indian restaurant. Now, don't get me wrong, I love me some good Indian food. I jus had my heart set on some breakfast tacos LoL! I ordered the Mix Paratha(with yogurt), and a Mango Lassi. Now, I know the Mango Lassi is a yogurt drink, and it's amazing! The Mix Paratha, on the other hand, I have never had before. Let me tell you, the flavor explosion in your mouth on that first bite, whoa! Just know you're gonna want more! It's actually pretty filling as well. The yogurt dip that comes with it is ok, like plain yogurt, nothing fancy. Makes a great pairing though. The restaurant serves breakfast only from 0700-1100, and full menu from 1100-2300. I was disappointed that I couldn't order my lunch to go, but I'll live. I'm still full from the Mix Paratha LoL! The store is amazing, has some awesome leather holsters and hats, as well as other leather items. Some nice knick knacks n such, great little place to shop. Massive parking area for trucks! It's a bit rough in areas, and there's potholes that could swallow your truck, but late night parking is always an option."

"This is more than just a gas station! This place a wide variety of authentic Texas souvenirs, clothing, paintings, and leather products. If you're leaving the state, this is a great place to buy a piece of Texas to take with you! In addition to the products, there's an awesome restaurant attached with authentic Mexican cuisine!!"

"It's a cool little store. It has some really interesting and cool trinkets for sale. It has Hispanic art, novelty license plates, and a whole lot of leather items. Holsters, bandaliers, and belts. Check it out, it's cool."

"Many trucks and cars can stop here at a time. The place is wide and open. There are three showers for the truck drivers i guess. I think i also saw four small washers and dryers there as well. The gas and diesel price is probably a little bit costly but i think this is logical considering the available options."
