"I will never shop at a city gear again, Hibbett yes City gear no I tried to exchange a pair of shoes for a smaller size and the store tried to charge me an additional amount to exchange because the shoes were no longer on sale. I have never heard of such foolishness (after fussing with cashier for about 15 minutes he claimed he called the general Me to change the shoes for a different size). City Gear store at 7543 Westheimer in Houston, TX"

"I like shopping here and I will continue to. The brown skin manager with the dreads that’s tall has good customer service. However, my complaint is that I can never run in here and pick up a pair of shoes quickly the way that I like to. I’m not exaggerating when I say it takes them at least 30 minutes to find one pair of shoes, and they usually just come back and say they don’t have it even even though the system says that they do. I don’t know if they’re back there Goofing off or if the stockroom is just disorganized so it takes a long time but I’ve never spent less than an hour here when I’m the only one in the store. I like it because it’s local, has good deals, a good selection, and it’s next to rainbow. But they really need to get it together when it comes to selecting shoes."

"Went to purchase some kids shoes. Walked in around 4 pm and there were 2 lady employees, one which was assisting a customer and the other seemed to be reshuffling things WHILE ON THE PHONE!!!. Neither greeted us. And after my daughter found a pair to her liking I proceeded to get assistance. Unfortunately for the phone lady she now asked to help and I declined due for her lack of service. Had to return the next day to get a different size. Sat outside almost an HOUR! For the store to OPEN for 11 when it's clearly stated City Gear opens for 10.. Won't return to this location"
