"I would like to say how much I love Dollar General stores for my quick convenient needs, but unfortunately I go in with a certain lowered expectation of quality service. Today changed my perspective. I was shopping around and started looking for the greeting cards section. Almost immediately someone asked if I needed help and then went and grabbed a basket for me to put my 6 items I barely held with my hands. She guided me to the card isle and told me to have a great day. This experience is what customer service was all about. I pass several dollar stores on my way home, but this one will now be my only one. The persons name was Tabatha and she works at the 3100 Windy Hill Road in Buda, TX (78610) location. I made sure to go back in the store and ask for her name. So many people tend to report only the negative experiences and forget to share the wonderful ones. Please do anything you can to tell her what a great asset she is to the store. If you need my transaction number for proof of my visit let me know. "One of the cleanest and best organized Dollar Generals I’ve ever been in. They regularly get new home decor arrivals and keep their displays up to date. This store opened during the snow in 2021 and took cash for non-perishable food items. That alone makes this store 5 stars for me. Many of us were stuck out here with ice on all roads leading in and out. Being able to get enough food and water to get by was critical."

"Sometimes slow though not always due to the employees. Store seems to be clean on most days and the fact that it's new makes it seem more inviting she the idea of old stock is not an issue because of this fact. If definitely go to this location before I went to the one sightly further west on Windy Hill Rd.."

"Good place to go to grab those few things you might need without having to mess with the huge grocery stores and crowds several miles away. The store is clean and staff is friendly. The only criticism I have is that this particular location really needs to have better staffing at busier times. If you go in the evening expect to wait in a pretty long line with only one cashier"
