Reviews
"This place serves authentic Chinese cuisine. You can smell chili and Sichuan peppers in the air. The food quality is great most of the time but it does vary from time to time… The prices are reasonable. The wait time after ordering food is typically 15-30 minutes. Highly recommend spicy grilled whole fish!"
"The food is nice, authentic Szechuan cuisine. The queue system and services is good, prompt and efficient. But the restaurant is a bit too small for the amount of crowd. We arrived around 7pm and waited almost half an hour to get a table. Apparently, everybody likes this restaurant. Very busy"
"I recently dined at the House of Three Gorges and had a satisfying experience. The eggplant with garlic sauce, cumin beef, and Sichuan stir-fried chicken were all delightful, with the eggplant dish standing out as my favorite. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The small restaurant, accommodating about 10 tables, emitted a tantalizing aroma while I waited. Despite the slight delay due to the restaurant's busyness, the service was efficient. However, I observed a priority for dine-in customers, as my order took over half an hour while those who arrived later received their food sooner. Overall, I'd rate it 4 out of 5."
"Best Chinese food I have had in Austin recently. You can adjust spice level. Initially did the highest for a bit. That showed me. Now have now toned it down a level. Every dish has been good to amazing. NO2 (Chicken Lo Mein) - 4/5 C05: General Tsao's Chicken - 5/5 Chicken in garlic sauce - 5/5 Mongolian beef -5/5 Cumin lamb - 3/5 Have only done takeout so can't speak for service. However there has been numerous occasions when we weren't able to order during hours posted as open."
"Really enjoyed our first visit here! All the staff were so kind — took our orders and questions & dropped off dishes with a smile. We arrived right at opening and there were already 3 tables seated. By the time we left around noon (on a Sunday), there was a minor wait. The portions were great and the flavors were on point. Appreciated that the food was not greasy at all and we left with our bellies full & boxes of leftovers for the week! We will 100% be back next time with friends and family."
