"I came for dumplings at lunch, which they do not do yet. They said they are working on it! I still had a delicious meal and a great time. It is a little pricey. The spicey cucumbers and hot and sour soup were great, and the scallion hugging beef was great, too."
"Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The atmosphere is very nice. Dim lighting to make it special. We ordered from the holiday cocktail menu. Got CINNA-MULE and Coconut Margarita. Both were really good. Glad we chose those two drinks. The Shanghai Pork Soup Dumplings was recommended and it was a hit. Really enjoyed it. The Chicken & Taro eggrolls were okay. The sauce that came with it was amazing! I would want the sauce instead of ordering the eggrolls again. As entrees we ordered the Tangerine Peel Beef and the Honey Pecan Gulf Prawns. Both entrees were really good. Just wish there was some spice added to them. The hot chili sauce was not hot, so that didn’t help. Since it was my wife’s birthday, they surprised her with a small cup of chocolate ice cream with a candle! I don’t like chocolate ice cream AT ALL! But this chocolate ice was the bomb! It was really good! I couldn’t believe it! I will definitely order that ice cream next time. Based on the reviews I guess it is based on your experience. It seems like it is hit or miss. Luckily for us it was a hit! My wife enjoyed herself so I that makes me happy. I look forward to coming back to try the other entrees!"
"DIM SUM, Sunday: I ordered 6 items. My honey doesn’t eat Asian food. MORE FOR ME! I ordered Soup dumplings, Pork Potstickers, Dan Dan Noodles, Foil Chicken, Scallion Pancake, Pork & Shrimp Shumai and a Mexican Coke. I ate it all! This food WAS OUTSTANDING! Sauces were paired SUPERBLY. Good size portions to share, if you’re into that sort of thing. Prices were VERY reasonable for being a block from Central (Pretentious) Market. Our server was very courteous, sweet and informed us of what she liked and I ordered based on her recommendations. I was not disappointed. We went during brunch on a Sunday 11am - noon. Not too busy at that time but was picking when we left. We got lucky and found a parking spot right in front. We won’t expect that next time. I (we) are definitely coming back. BTW, I love the brown chopsticks!"
"Ate here for an early lunch with my family for dim sum. Staff was really friendly and answered our questions. There's no push cart for dim sum here, so you'll place your order with the waitstaff. Everything we ordered came out in less than 10 minutes and was really fresh and delicious. My family was really impressed with how everything tasted. By the time we left, closer to noon, the restaurant started to get busy, so making a reservation may be a good idea if you have a larger party."
