"Genuinely one of the best food trucks out there. They are so incredibly friendly and there food really brings back memories of my own family's Trini cooking. Plus, there's nowhere else you're getting doubles in the area! Great options for veg eaters and non-veg eaters alike. Really couldn't recommend enough!"
"The food was slamming. I had the oxtail and it was falling off the bone..so soft and succulent. The gravy and rice was tasty too. Next time I'm going for the jerk chicken. The lady was so sweet and nice. If you're on the east side check them out. Really authentic Trinidad cuisine."
"The jerk chicken is great! The salad and the rice were average tho. I tried the burger and it was a puff pastry with meat - it was great! If the sides were better, this place would have been amazing!"
"This food truck is EXCEPTIONAL! I love island food and this food is one of the best in the Greater Austin area. The under 4 rating is absolutely not deserving, as some of the people that gave them a low rating because they might have found a bone in a meat dish! That is how traditional island food items are served. Where on the menu did they say boneless meat! If you are going to eat someone's food, respect their culture. If you are looking to eat a bland wrap, go to Subway. The other reason some people seem to complain is the wait can be a bit long, which is somewhat true, but good food takes time. If you order the oxtail, it is possible it will take 30ish minutes. That being said, the food at this place is very tasty. Definitely order the Doubles. The bread on the doubles they make are slightly different from some of the other ones i had. But the quality of the bread is still very high and makes it tasty. I had Goat curry with a side of Bhaji. The goat was soft and juicy, i wish the portion was a little bigger but other than that it was great tasting. This truck is tucked inside the food truck park on East 6th. There is some street parking available around the park. They run out of food very quickly, by mid day sometimes, so plan accordingly. The owner and the staff are super friendly. I Highly recommend this place"
"So delicious! Make sure you go early to get doubles! The workers were very nice got us our food quickly. The curry goat was amazing and we were definitely happy we ordered the roti instead of rice. We’ll definitely be going back for more."
