"Super happy to find this place near my new place of employment. Everything was great and lots of menu options. The only thing I noticed is they are pretty busy during lunch, and if you order ahead (as I did) there is no dedicated service for picking up your order. I still had to wait a few minutes in line. The line goes pretty fast though, so not a big deal."
"Just what love — a scoop of scrambled egg in the middle of my taco. I like to eat nothing but tortilla until until the very middle. So lazy."
"The food could have used more seasoning, even the pie. I got the 4 piece chicken for take out. They did not put in any catsup for the fries in the bag. The breast was juicy. The wing had some breast meat attached to make it a bigger piece."
"Review of Bill Miller’s BBQ on 290, Austin, Texas - December 9th I visited Bill Miller's BBQ in Austin, expecting a decent meal at a reasonable price. Our order included three plates – bacon, sausage, and brisket. Unfortunately, upon reaching home, we realized the brisket plate was missing. I immediately called the restaurant to address this oversight. However, the response was disheartening. The manager and the customer service representative were both hostile and unfriendly. It felt as if they doubted my claim, casting a shadow over what should have been a simple issue to resolve. Their demeanor was far from what one would expect in a customer-focused business. On a positive note, a black woman working in customer-facing service was understanding and kind, a stark contrast to the others. A middle aged manger and senior citizen age woman of Hispanic descent. However, despite her efforts, the overall experience left a sour taste. This is due to the brisket plate being way smaller than normal and the customer service being comparable to a Popeyes or a McDonald’s. I've always thought of Bill Miller's BBQ as an average spot, nothing extraordinary but affordable. But after this incident, the value proposition drastically diminishes. I plan to share this experience with friends and family and have decided not to return. It's unfortunate that a simple error, compounded by poor customer service, can lead to losing loyal patrons."
"First of all, I ordered the chicken fried steak and I said the gravy on the side my gravy did not come with my meal and my bag was wet on the outside underneath. When I open the bag my plate was cracked when I open the plates all the food was all over the place and I attached a photo. I had a very bad experience and my sister told me to get a chicken fried steak because it was good but I didn’t even get to try it and I was very upset, and I threw it away."
