Maybe when you go down to Valentina's and are presented with a two hour wait you'll decide you want to go elsewhere -- and let me suggest Las Abuelas, which is located about a dozen steps away. But, to be honest, it's worth making the trek down south just for it. Fried chicken sandwich Valhalla with a little Tex-Mex twist. The brunch fried chicken sandwich with MEXICAN COKE GLAZED BACON might be the best fried chicken sandwich in Austin right now. Don't sleep on the refreshing hibiscus limeade either."
